  1. Does anyone remember something along the lines, "because it's hard/difficult, it makes it more interesting and I can work hard too"? I think I heard this in an interview. I really like this particular quote from him because when I was young I used to think that way and to be reminded again of my younger 'never give up' mentality makes me appreciate Yuzu even more.
  2. This is like...No...just No. This cosplayer only care for replicating the look. I think many of us can imitate Yuzu's knickknacks behaviours and body language better than this guy.
  3. I get the term 'organic' thing to Yuzuru. But I don't get this 'javier bases his skating in a formal capacity'. Can someone explain this term for me?
  4. I've been following Yuzuru since Helsinki. I don't normally watch figure skating as my national TV never aired it. But his short program video popped up on my youtube and through the somewhat disastrous skate I got curious that I couldn't help finding a streaming link for the free skate. There and then I witness perfection, grace, elegance. Everything that figure skating as sport and art could offer. Since then I got sucked in the figure skating world own by one Yuzuru Hanyu. I couldn't get out since.
  5. How devious of Yuzu, showing off a perfect 4Lo to competitors and then not doing it in the actual skate. I love cunning man!
  6. Yup, and they did mention the Inna Bauer pose too. I was laughing my ass off, when I heard the dialogue. Japan is truly infatuated with Yuzu.
  7. Well of course if Yuzuru agrees to Boyang joining TCC I will have nothing against that. I think all of us here who stated our opinion are looking out for Yuzuru's best interest. That's all there is to it. Whatever decision he takes is up to him as he's surely the one who knows what he himself needs the best.
  8. It's not that I didn't believe what Brian, Javi or Yuzu said. But in my mind, I'd imagine there'd be a time when Javi would just look back and asked himself did he made a mistake in allowing Yuzu to train under Brian? but since it's already too late, he can't take back what he said, so all he can do is to let it go and just try his best and be friends with Yuzu. True that we'll never know what would happen if Yuzu stayed in Japan or train under some other coach. But as I wanted Yuzu to stay at the top, then I wouldn't want him to take any risk regarding his competitors. If he's really cunning (as I'd like to think he is, cunning in the inside soft outside) then I would assume he'd say no if ever Brian bring this topic to him. When Yuzu went to Toronto, Javi was considered a step above him, that's why it was to Yuzu's advantage that he went to train with Javi. Now, Yuzu is the one at the top, he should be more aware of keeping that spot for himself. I hope I make sense.
  9. That is such a scary thought to be honest. I have a full faith towards Yuzuru. But I can't help but feel threatened just a little bit. I might be the minority here, as much as I love Boyang I wouldn't want him to train at TCC. If Yuzuru is going for Beijing then I wouldn't want Boyang or Shoma to be there at TCC.
  10. I definitely agree with your point. One thing I love from Yuzu is that he always strives for perfection, never stops challenging himself. Hence the weakness, failures and even injuries. Him trying his very best after such painful hardwork is what makes victories even more sweeter.
  11. Add Nathan's coach there as Yuzu's uncle fan. There was a video of him asking Yuzu to sign a magazine and he said he's a fan of Yuzu.
  12. Guys, I dunno where to post this question, so since this is a general Yuzu thread I'll ask here. This is my question...do we have a Yuzuru fashion thread? Like a thread where we specifically talk about clothes, shoes, skates he wear from each season, accesories etc? I've been looking for his Asics shoes model and couldn't find it.
