Like back when yuna kim got Vancouver Gold there was talk from Korean media that Mao asked Brian for coaching and that tension was what separated Yuna and Orser. I still believe to this day that it was jst a fan made conspiracy frm yuna fans but who knows. And look at Yagudin and Plushenko. Those two werent on good terms when they trained together. Recently I watched evgenias interview with Yagudin and he still talked about how hard it was to train with his biggest rival plushenko. And then Zhenya said that at times it was hard to train with her rival zagitova in the same interview. I do imagine there being an emotional and mentally draining experience of jealousy and competitive nausea if 2 of the best skaters in the world train in the same environment. If this was Nathan Chen who was coming to Brian I would say Hell No, but because from what Ive heard fanyus being positive about Boyang coming to TCC i am slowly reconsidering my negativity. But I still agree with your point. Boyang going to homeground olympics and him training for it is different.

So we now knw that it is humanly possible to compete at 34 (although they didnt have quads then) So if Yuzu goes to Beijing and wins 3 straight OGM he is the youngest person in history to do so at age 27. Hahahaha. And the only 2nd man in the world to get 3 straight OGM. Thnks. New fans will knw that the last message at the ice show was said in context to a bigger social issue. Ive known Yuzu since Sochi and I have never spent my time at GS. So i dnt knw what western people think but i can tell u this. During 2018 olympics I went to the PC official olympics instagram run by IOC. And there was literally million comments from the host nation sending Yuzu death threats on his Gold Medal congratulation posts in the comments. If u wnt to knw its still there. They were mostly Yuna Kim fans jealous of Yuzu getting 2 OGM and becuz the post had Japanese written on it (wtf right?). So its not jst Takahashi or Shoma fans who bash Yuzu. Its international. I hate to be that fan as well. Hence I never take interest too much in Yuzus rival threads or news to stop myself getting overzealous or jealous or competitive. (Nathan C, Shoma). But the conspiracy of Takahashi blog is bullsh*t. And skating fans do get crazy alot. Lol I now start to understand why Yuzu said he wnted to die becuz of Media rumors and because presumably he reads 2ch anti threads about himself. Takahashi and Shoma fans dislike Yuzu alot in Japan, not all but a lot. And so although there are more who see him as a national hero, mao fans and other skater fans see him as a threat to their fave skaters honor or star power etc. Even Yuna kim fans on korean websites do this to a full blown extent by the millions (DC figure skating gallery). Ive google translated both sites out of curiousity and I dnt go there anymore becuz the hate was too intense. And its not worth reading. My experience with Golden Skate is that people there are very nice in comparison. If i spend alot of time in GS maybe my view will change, but so far fans of other skaters (zhenya fans esp) call him the GOAT, total package even when I never mention it first.

Quad lutz and triple toe combination are Nathan and Boyangs stable combinations. And they perform them very well. . As with Quad flip too. Boyang and Nathan have higher BV because of their large quad varieties. I love Yuzus jumps more. They deserve higher GOE for sure. Yuzu is a quad monster. But not in the sense that Nathan is called Quad King by the media. To be honest Nathan attempting 6 quads in Free or Boyang doing similar is funny to me. It looks like Half Pipe or a jumping competition (borrowing yuzus words on describing jump centered programs). I dislike such approaches to skating and laugh at how technical the sport has reverted to. I called them quad monsters simply because quads are their main weapons for winning, and this sort of brutal quad force strategy, though not artistically appealing, it works. (Sometimes)

We dont doubt Yuzu persay. Its rather Boyang and Nathan are quad monsters... Quads have such high BV and the PCS points that Yuzu has an advantage over may not be enough in the future. We dnt wnt Yuzu attempting crazy quads after injury. We therefore are, well I feel threatened by Boyangs potential growth at TCC. How can I help my natural fan instinct of wnting Yuzu to stay No. 1? Cnt help it. If yuzu competes I wnt him to stay on top. If he doesnt I would still love him the same but Im not gonna lie. I love seeing Yuzu win. Who is Lori? And Daisuke fans hating Yuzu? Wasnt that in Japan exclusive? Im not on Golden Skate regularly so I never knew Patrick fans were Yuzu antis to that extent. Was it severe?

Yes exactly. Cunning is the word I want to imply. Yuzu said Javi is soo nice that he wondered whether he was too nice for competitions. Javi was a bit naive in allowing Yuzu to come to TCC because yuzu wasnt jst "another competitior". By allowing yuzu to come to TCC he allowed a jewel talent to flourish into a GOAT under the best coaching team the planet has to offer in many many ways. Sure if yuzu went to USA or Russia or other place to train he would still be a threat. But would Yuzu have become the total package who made history by winning 2 OGM? What made this possible was TCC had chemistry with Yuzus talent. It was the spark that started the forest fire. Yuzu needed skating skill lessons and TCC gave him lots of that. I think if Yuzu were as cunning as I presume he is, He would say no, i do not feel comfortable training with Boyang permanently or some other Top 6 rival. Javi was a threat, but Javi did not jump 5 quads. Yuzu still had the upper hand. Shoma, Boyang, Vincent on the other hand or other contenders I hope Yuzu thinks carefully. By saying Yes Yuzu could allow the same situation that Javis Yes made Yuzu.. His Yes could give birth to a terrifying Talent that could bring down Yuzu from No. 1 spot.

I too share this thght yes Yuzu will get motivated. But what if Boyang ends up beating Yuzu like Yuzu beat Javi? Javi made a mistake career wise when he said yes to Brian for allowing Yuzu to come to TCC..yes it motivated him to try harder and get better results but if Yuzu never came to TCC and went to Russia instead like his first plan or remained in Japan... Yuzu would not have become the GOAT he is now imo.

I see Shoma as a less of a threat to Yuzus crown than Boyang. Because Shomas jumps prerotate and are bad quality wise. And I think Shoma needs serious help.

To be honest I was jealous that Boyang would get more of Orsers teaching talent and it might threaten yuzus chance of Gold Medals haha Jst a jealous fan . Whereas Javi I did not feel jealousy nor entitlement that Yuzu shld have Brians attention and care more. Javi went to TCC first and Javi never was a quad monster. (Quad monster is a compliment that means landing lots of diff types of quads) But boyang is a quad monster I see him as a threat a serious one hahahaaha . Or do u think they r still out of podium at senior GP events (eunsoos jr results never got her on a podium at jr worlds nor JGP) Cuz of Zhenya, Zagitova and osmond and others?
