Yeah, two years ago, I woke up at an ungodly hour (as almost always to get to watch Yuzuru!), turned on the tablet and was getting nervous wondering if and how the live stream would work, a live stream of Sendai TV, from which I couldnt understand a single word. For the first time in my life I watched a parade, and more so in a place half way around the world, and stayed glued to the screen to witness something I swear if someone 5 years earlier (so called pre-Sochi era) would have told me I would do so, I would have loughted my heart out!

Media day... Oh, mais ou sont les neiges d`entan?...
-
Oh, come on, there were just bits of thoughts, social distancing and prolongation of the emergency status do that to me perhaps, but more so, I have learned through time that not all we see or hear is what it seems to be. And that attention seeking could be a motive for some to make assumption that draw such attentiion. What is clearly true is that all of us here DO miss Yuzuru a lot.

That is why I said ``pretended``
-
All in all, and as per the ninja skills Yuzuru demonstrated time and time again, we certainly know NOTHING of his actaul whereabouts, and whoever claims otherwise is either a clairvoyant, or a pretended insider. Prove me wrong, I dare you, and we will all be benefitted!

Thank you, Paskud, althugh I don`t understand anything except kuyashii and some numerals, it is a real joy for me to watch the docummenary, it`s like the world came back to its normal, even with the news sandwitched at about an hour watch. Oh well, I am grateful for such a treat!

Thank you so much! You made my day!

Anyhow, the SP video is unavailable for me. So...

Well, I have to disagree. Yes, the virus might be a continuous threat for a good deal of months, but once the peril gone, I don`t see any reasons to conclude that the whole season would be at risk. The unpredictibility of the situation is the only predictible thing. And to assert that many top skaters will sit out, including Yuzuru... The moment that the show is on the road again, these fighters will be in the first line, believe me! Or, it`s just me, and my optimistic pov. But definitely sitting out on a pre-olympic year....... Come on!
-
Of course we may never know for sure anything about Yuzuru`s condition and hardships he has been going through many times because he chooses to be so pivate and discreet, but I bet all my money he really ahd an asthma attack at JNats last year. He looked so much in pain and powerless, nothing like him!

Dont you think this is a waaaaaay better hip-hop than the much praised and US media sold one of the NC`s? Me think...
-
Thank you for posting it! One can easily tell how almost everybody there was feeling and how invested they were. And how professional they act. Of course, Yuzuru stands out like he always does.
-
Well, the best Yuzuru moment this year was the one he let us know that he will compete next season too. But be reassured all the moments you have brouhgt up here are marvelous, I concur.

Shoma should work on pre-rotation of his weird quads before tying a quint. Do not let yourself fooled by the PR mashine behind him. Come on, people, we come a long way, we all know the drill by now!

Just my two cents on the Brian s interview matter - it is quite unbelieveble that the main coach had no clue regarding the logistics toward the most important event of the year i.e. GPF, thus i will not buy the ``I didnt know I was not going`` stuff. Then, revisiting the subject without being asked is also stunning. And as for the supporters of the ``he is a coach, not a PR expert`` does not stand, FS is a reputational sport, PR is pretty much a must in the business and Orser proved many times he handles it brilliantly, so being clumbsy at times means either he does it o purpose (I really dont know what that is!), or he is just tired, as he repeatly admitted lately, he really needs a vacation, and got fed up with the whole shaban. And last but not least, mentioning Chen is a big mistake, never PR your oponent, even a bad PR is better than a secure and superior silence. Just dont bring him up, at least for the sake of numerous and repeated mentions of your student-champion name every time your oponent sniffs on ig or a commentator makes tht parallel wih no connection, just to prop Chen as Yuzuru`s equal. There! I let this out of my chest! Dont throw your stones too hard on me!

Thank you for the translation, Fay!

Yeah, Helsinki 2017 will always be an epic and I will most definitely treasure it as such, I also loved the Hope and Legacy at the Seoul 4CC gala, but I think the grin at th end of the perf at the gala was due to the mistake from th last spin he made.

I completely agree with you. This is a sport of reputation and working hard on destroying, step by step, Yuzuru`s, is what should be troubling us. This is not just conspiracy theory, numbers never lie. But again, nothing to be done, unless something really shaking would make ISU change its doing.
-
The saddest part is that they made him have doubts about himself.
-
Damn ISU, what have you done to such a woderful soul!
-
No, she is the coach before Mrs. Abe and after Mr. Tzuzuki, I forgot her name, maybe some fellow satellite has a better memory...

Boitano is american...
