Thank you, Pammi, for posting the article. Everything is interlocked now-a-days, the Butterfly Effect really matters so politics does affect everything, down to the scoring and judges shenanigans to please the feds, or the shameless propaganda for pets trying to shadow the real values of a sport (like and including FS). It is good for us to be reminded once in awhile.

Welcome to the Planet! I hop you will enjoy it, no matter how hectic the next season will be and how nerve wrecking! The more, the merrier!

Yeah, but none of the examples too successful, quite the opposite, if my memory doesnt fail me. Sorry to rain on your parade, Melodie, you`re right, it`s an elegant concept, but never proved to benefit the performers.

This!

So, the forum is no longer a toddler! Happy anniversary! We are still alive and kicking hard!

Thank you! I was going to ask about it but as usually, you got the job done! I started to become anxious..

Thank you for the translation! So grateful to all the satellites who make Yuzu`s words accessible to us ignorants!

Even so, this is scary!

100% with you!

Oh but yes, it IS olso on the athletes all right! They are part of the game! They (the ones that do) benefit a lot from the overscoring which they get. While it lasts. Let`s not kid ourselves. And maybe Yuzu gets the harsh treatment because he refuses anything else but playing only by the rules. He really is the truth in this world of fake news, to quote a jurnalist at a press com pafetr Olys 2018.

You and me both!

We are mere humans, we have feelings, we have eyes and we can see the bias. We love and we hate, that is what fans do in any sports on this planet. We cheer and we boo watching football, tennis, handball, baseball and no one gets offended by it, right? We root for our faves and hope for their victory, and of course for the failing of their oponents, it would be impossible any other way. Some well financed parts of media and sns try to insult our intelligence by making us believe whom we should root for and that our eyes and knowledge betrade us and they (those parts) are the only ones to show us the right way and to point to the chosen one to support. So people choose to rebel and stand up for their own preferences. Some get quite infuriated (like myself sometimes) and phrase their thoughts accordingly. I think it`s ok. We should not feel intimidated for the way we feel or think because it`s not in compliance with some powerful media or sns streams. They are not intimdated by the good old common sense and do their tricks proping whom they have been instructed to, so no big deal. May I remind you hat we applaud and boo even at classy opera and concerts, so dont be shy to let it out of your chest, guys. At least here. I think we are very polite and too kind to those who insult our intelligence and feelings. And biased scoring is not just judges fault. Biased judges, favored athlete and media support are all in the same bed together, let`s not fool ourselves!

Well, keep in mind that he said that by the end of last year, that was his feelings at that moment in time, although I would like to think he kept being careful with his health all those two months which have past. I do join you in praying for his wellbeing, God bless him!

Always!

Wow, this place never fails to be a trove of knowledge! So many things I foud out each time Yuzu made us think and search for the meanings of his art, right?

Thank God the Planet is back! I missed you, guys!

We always complain that Yuzu is held on different supperior standards compared to his oponents, and now we simply do the same. Judging at JNats was appalling, and the fact that he scored less than at NHK15 could give the impression that a 3-quads and 2x3As Seimei is technically superior to a 4-quads and 2x3As H&E. Seriously? Come on, guys, we could do better! Like we deliberately follow the NBC and USFSA narrative as the absolute truth. H&E is a pure gem already from the first outing and tactically and strategically impecable. And do not forget his beauty. Again, Yuzu proved that beauty does exist.

Thank God the Planet is back working again. Sorry for just reading your posts lately and not posting, but I barely am over the feling that JNts are past now and I have to admit I am watching Yuzu`s perfs on the loop (certainly am not the only one!). I really enjoyed Umebachi`s meaningful analyses and I totally resonate with it!

Thank you!

Guys, is the interview to be now?

[NEWS] https://www.bruinsportsanalytics.com/post/olympic_skating_champion I found this and it sounds quite bias-free, and you can easily sense a desire to follow the facts and educate through facts and figures. Also it gets of course a great deal of admiration toward Yuzu as a true row model ( which, let`s face it, is really rare in the now-a-days media). Hope and Legacy is also posted by the end of the artilce as the author`s favorite, and I enjoyed watching again, as it is one of my most favorite one as well (I guess I am a Chopin`s Ballade fan all the way, too, can`t deny it!). Well, enjoy it, could be a good start of a Sunday, as it was for me. Maybe you guys know a bit more about the author or the site itself. I hope it is ok that I put the [news] mention up front.
