  1. Oh, it will. And she knew it already, hence her endeavour to still make her presence known and even deliberately make some fuss. Bad publicity is still publicity, right? Ari will promote Russian skaters who bring him money. Let`s see how it will go from here. If it`s still worth it, he will back her for casting. If not. then not.
  2. Canadian borders are very strict (specificaly Ontario), she wouldnt be able to elude those restrictions and quarantine, like she seems to be prone to from past recent experiences - her sns is the proof of that - and maybe she and her mom\team are not eager to return to Russia. Yeah, she IS a mess all together.
  3. So, she keeps wondering around Japan, doesn`t she?
  4. It`s called GOE game. Ask the panel of judges, they are the keepers of the secret.
  5. He is not the one to play wih the layout. Raf is. Initiative does not seem to be his feat. Ever. Or this is my impression.
  6. Guys, consistency counts ONLY for the chosen ones, you know, from chosen feds, with chosen support, etc.
  7. Remember that Medvedeva won everything due only to consistency. And look what happened!
  8. OMG, I should realise more often that the ISU and its judges are indeed people like this one ! Every medal ceremony, every official moment of any competition, when I see the people who evaluate and decide over the athletes` performances (and appearance, more so!), offering the medals and proudly taking pictures with the exhausted beautiful in every way winners, it gives me sort of strange vibes... How on earth some one like the one in this video has the power to dictate and put an official stamp on somebody like, say Yuzuru, when it is clear as the day light they belong to waaaay different league, if not even species, if you know what I mean!... And don`t give me the expertise speech, we see every single time that`s mostly major BS covering politiking and God knows what petty obscure undetectable interests, I mean undetectable from the normal logical POV! You may color me shallow or whatever, but I just cannot shake this off at all.
  9. He always said that he goes to Japan for work, aka ice shows and media and endorsement obligations. Not hollidays. And usually he used his off season to get injuries-related treatment and rehab in Toronto. Who knows...
  10. Well, we are now going back to the path of ``a friend of a friend of the acquintance of some team trusted member...`` and `` don`t you think it would be tragic to assume...`` kind of hearsaying stuff. I personally think that IF someone really knows something and is trustfully connected to the matter of interest, they will definitely NOT say anything at all. There!
  11. Nobody does. It`s as good as anybody`s guess.
  12. I also believe this is not over yet, popcorn is needed for good measure. What really pops up as a quick conclusion in my view is that Eteri lost control of the whole thing, the reins are no longer her prerogative and it seems that her leaving for the USA and concenntrating on her daughter `s business has led to that. An old universal saying - when the cat`s away mice would play - mirrors in this situation. Or, I might be wrong, and the rotten apple has been already there for quite some time and only now the consequences are surfacing.
  13. Shae-Lynn Bourne is doing actually pretty nice hidroblades by her own in shows and was famous together with her ID partner Victor Kratz for this move as their trade mark.
  14. Trend is trend, but good taste is something else, isn`t it?
  15. Thank you, Fay, yeah, seems like the guy is using some powerful stuff, the phrasing and the gist of it shows that way. Otherways, just putting Yuzuru`s name in the mix for non-detectable logical reasons would fit the bill.
  16. I only could read it with google translate and there is a paragtaph about Weir and Yuzuru that I could not figure out what to make of it, something about `let us be all angels with skates` and `they hire a show`or something. Could some gentle soul here knowlegeable of Russian to enlighten us? thanks!
  17. Thank you for posting Plushenko interview, Yuzuangel. Very enlightening. He seems determined to invest himself a lot in being a coach, I respect that. Maybe performing in shows became kind of physically tiring for Plush, after all, he is at an age when old and drastic injuries start to take a toll and nobody is getting any younger, so isn`t he. It could be a life changer for him, remember how Yuna came in Orser`s life and practically made a coach out of him, eventhough he himself never envisaged this type of a career at that time. Well, Trusova is not Yuna, but times are different and I may be guilty of comparing apples and oranges, thugh as a french saying argues, comparaison n`est pas raison, there is no logic in comparing.
  18. Hockey parents are what is also called dragon or tiger parents, right?
  19. Well, unexpected and no so. Anyway, we must be grateful for this from Yuzuru and I agree with all of you have said here. But what would be characterizing word in my oppinion would be CLASSY.
  20. Because he IS the skating himself. He pours so much passion and effort in it, I hardly believe there is a real other passion or hobby which could take over him.
  21. Happy Birthday, dear Planet and to you, guys, faithful satellites and loyal travel companions through good and difficult times! Much gratitude to the admins, mods, and most of all, to those who had the guts to create this wonderful place three years ago! Well, time really goes by so quicky, we all are older and hopefully wiser!
  22. Vadrouille, please check the number of WRs marked with the programs repeated and maybe this will ease your discontent...
