  1. I'm afraid flight attendants would have a hard time focusing on their duties if this guy was the pilot
  2. The original post from Gen Hoshino now has 1.7M views, with 26K likes
  3. The News Every video is back on YouTube:
  4. Same here. And the cameramen for Niigata understood the assignment very well There were a lot of Yuzu closeups in the Niigata show...
  5. I'm really hoping for a Yuzu cut of the whole show - and though it might be challenging - one without JW parts in it. Sorry, just being real
  6. I loved the singer as well, Touya Kobayashi
  7. This made me LOL. Miya's struggle is real How adorable...
  8. I think Yuzuru's duality - not even, more like his versatility - is something that contributes to his charisma. Yuzuru is never boring - what skills he already has, he continues to improve; and then adds to this cache whatever else he chooses to learn along the way. What a charming young man - such a breath of fresh air in this world we live in.
  9. Same here, found the Elle process a bit complicated, and being the impatient person that I am, decided to check out CDJapan as well. However, the supermodel version was sold out before I could check out. Went to Amazon JP, and lo and behold, they have a recommended bundle - BOTH Elle versions PLUS Kiss & Cry The Stage. We all know what happened next. At least with this package, the shipping fee becomes a bit more worth it. Good job, Amazon JP - you sure do know your customers I promised myself I wouldn't buy magazines anymore (one, because they are quite expensive due to shipping fees; and two, because I'm not sure how much this contributes to Yuzuru's own pocket and I really only want to support him directly) but, as WorldShopping would say, here we go again! Mr. Hanyu makes me do things my (usually) logical self normally wouldn't do. Still, I don't regret it
  10. I think it's partly because he brings out the maternal/protective instinct in the older ladies. I'm speaking for myself, at least. I am nowhere near 89, but I consider myself an older lady, compared to Yuzu. Also, l love younger people who are raised well - with good manners, ethics/values, and high EQ - which Yuzu apparently has in spades. Edit: Actually, my seatmate, who was only in her twenties, said the same thing - though Yuzu and her are almost the same age, she feels so much older than him sometimes. Yuzu has a childlike personality, which makes him all the more endearing and irresistibly charming.
  11. Apologies for the double post - it is already past 12mn here in Sendai And I wasn't able to provide updates earlier because I lost connectivity at the venue. Thankfully, Marika was there. Some thoughts about the show - Opening/group number: Yuzu is really looking fineee. I mean, really. My apologies, other skaters, l'm afraid that when Yuzu's on the ice, I only have eyes for him. There was a bit of a commotion in the southwest corner just before Mai skated. A woman was screaming something - it was loud, and many of us turned that way. It was over quickly, though. Javi: Look who's got the sparkles going on. Not sure what the program is about, I'm not used to him skating to this type of music. I'll give him one thing, though. He was clean on his jumps. And he jumped well at the end as well. Stephane will always be my 2nd favorite in this group, next to Yuzu. He also has the gift of enchanting the audience and making them believe in the dream world he creates when he skates. Shizuka is as ageless and graceful as ever. I'm not too fond of the Ms. Saigon music, however. Btw, I am very thankful that our particular fandom is really quite great. I sat next to a lovely older lady on my way back to Sendai Station and we chatted the whole way about Yuzu (even though we both barely spoke each other's tongue). She also gave me a Seimei towel (Nishikawa) and a Sekkisei giveaway. We are such a nice group of people. Makes sense. We follow such a brilliant human being
  12. I noticed this, too. He almost made me tear up. Our boy is really something else. He was raised right. Btw, not sure if someone mentioned it already - during the finale, when Yuzu was at the South side of the rink, he was (unconsciously?) covering his tummy (the black mesh). My seatmate and I found this ridiculously endearing
  13. Very true. To be honest, before Yuzu's performance, I saw some folks starting to nod off - perhaps it was a combined effect of the weather, plus the music used by some skaters. However, as soon as G&G were done, the change in the atmosphere was almost palpable. The screaming started, and the waiting was finally over. Yuzu was there, and all is right with world He might have toned down on some antics because this was Miyagi, but every time he felt like we weren't cheering enough, he kept egging us on And he might have felt that his opening/performance/whatever was so-so, but that is not how his fans felt. Some of these fans are seeing him for the first time, and that meant the world to them
  14. These CFanyus are so nice. I talked to one of them - she had this really pretty banner that she waved every time Yuzu passed our way during the closing. She even gave me gifts - pictures of Yuzu, a Yuzu mirror and a Pooh pin. Here's to all of them... Cheers!
  15. Thanks, @Perelandra, will do! There's a line everywhere - at the merch booth, the ticket validation booth, even at the WC Only for Yuzu... I tried zunda mochi the minute I arrived. I also bought hagi no tsuki. Both are as good as advertised. Tomorrow, I'm planning to dine at Hamaya, to try the famed hokki-meshi
  16. I'm here now at Sekisui Heim Super Arena. It's a rainy day today, folks. Bring your jackets and umbrellas. I just saw a familiar face, one of our uncles, Mr. Nobuaki Tanaka We're quite early. The bus driver was very efficient - it took half the time it did in 2019 to travel from Sendai Station to the venue. Good job, Mr. Driver-San. Waiting now for the official goods stall to open...
  17. Here is the one for FaOI Makuhari >>
  18. Aww, Yuzuru... we don't deserve you, you look perfect tonight... So very beautiful - I can watch this for hours
  19. I am so envious of every one who saw THIS Yuzuru live, skating on ice, with spotlights and all. Look at how regal he looks! Simply gorgeous Add to that his wonderful character/personality (beautiful inside AND out), and I'm done for
  20. Thanks very much for sharing this blessing Aside from his dancing (which has obviously improved much - looks more natural/graceful now, with "economy of movement" as Carol Lane would say), I also love seeing all of his facial expressions while dancing (he also does this in Koi Dance) Our boy really can do anything he sets his heart and mind on - the creativity and versatility are off the charts - such a charming, adorable human being Edit: I watched this clip on a loop on my laptop.... until I heard my nephew singing to "Dynamite" in the other room
  21. I am loving that video playing in the background. I am here for all your dancing escapades, Yuzu
  22. Patrick Chan is that one figure skater I "loved to hate" (y'all know what I mean) when he was competing with Yuzu, but now I "miss the most" amongst all of Yuzu's past competitors - not JF, not DT, but Patrick Chan I honestly cannot explain it if you ask me to, but that's how it is...
  23. Like it? No, I loved it. Simply beautiful - a wonderful tribute to a most amazing person
  24. I love how he calls Yuzuru "Sensei" (even on his YT videos). Kinda makes me tear up a bit
  25. I would have preferred Jeff over JW/JF, honestly Perhaps he is busy doing choreo?
