As far as we know, Wakaba going to TCC is just a rumour only coming from Max months ago right (and it sounded like they were in talks of her going, not a settled thing)? Zhenya going will lower chances of her going for sure, I think. There's always a chance the talks or situation may have changed. what do you mean she narrowed it down to Eteri or BOrser? Wasn't she leaving Eteri?

Yuzu's also complimented zhenya's ability to deliver consistently under any circumstances before iirc and we know from the new ice jewels interview that that's a chief concern of his, and something I think TCC would definitely be interested in bringing in. I think she definitely has, it's played out very well as @Yatagarasu said (and frankly I'm shocked because even the gossipy FS circles didn't have BOrser's name on the radar though there were rumours about a split with Eteri). for an eighteen-year-old (who's clearly found a good team to help her), that's truly quite impressive. I'm living for her cryptic tweeting today too.

No, I think BOrser's always been particularly careful to get an okay from the existing skaters and he's emphasised this point talking about Javi and Yuzu so I feel like they might at least run it by their skaters (albeit idk how much involvement he has with Gabby's training)

Honestly, I was so invested in wakaba going because development-wise - from the skills she's in need of polishing, her passionate, slightly 'wild' style, to her age, to the momentum she got as World Silver Medallist - she was in the optimal position to transfer to TCC. I'd hate if it was a 'choose one or the other' type deal, but to have Wakaba, Gabby, Zhenya and Elizabet in one rink is more than TCC have had to ever deal with, and I honestly don't see them going for that just yet. Zhenya's main issues are her flutz and axel so I can see where TCC can help her there but fixing technique is an uncertain thing and may involve reworking from fundamentals. Given how quickly Eteri's other girls are moving up, the question would be time. Girl's got ferocious tenacity though, maybe she'll surprise us.

I...... genuinely think that it's mostly because it's sometimes easier to time your jumps (when you're not doing a run through and just wanting to drill them) to the loud-ass music blaring over the speakers and/or it's just fun to twirl around bc there's a particularly nice phrase of music you're hearing (he did it for Deniss' Sway). he definitely does jumps as a way to establish dominance (see: 3A at GPF15 after Javi, 4Lo at Olys right in front of Nathan's face) but I don't think he's tripping over his own 4T pot hole on beat as some elaborate way of asserting his superior PCS potential lmfao

Belated happy birthday to the Planet! What an incredible, distressing, miraculous, fantastic year~ I had no idea what I signed up for when I began posting but I’m just glad I did because being a fan of yuzu is only better when it’s done with more people. Thank you to everyone who’s made this place such a great place to find resources and an oasis of yuzu content during all the Explosions, the Great Drought and Recycled White Tshirt Plague, the TV Asahi Trolling, and of course for all the communal tears, delight and emotion through all the competitions, events, watch parties, live reports and historic moments we witnessed.
