Two weeks more without Yuzu and people will start to bring everything that is possible and even more, I afraid.
-
Need to catch up with all the axel beauties now. BTW, did I miss the discussion of this masterpiece, or it's just an old one?

Sailor Moon shirt (with Luna) Zhenya is always Zhenya
-
May he just be healthy and happy (that means, with all the gold, of course ).
-
Guys, this is brilliant. In a recent interview Zhenya said that she had no intention to organize her birthday party. But Ekaterina Bobrova simply organized it without saying anything, and as a result, Zhenya was literally invited to her own birthday.

To take a cool selfie which nobody could see.

Especially now, after this video. His voice is quite a topic for discussion. For example, it has a magical effect on me: I feel better and more confident.
-
Maybe. But, anyway, Yuzu's last name suffers from "h" pronunciation even more. My "favorite" version is still French one (without "h" at all, sounds like "An'u"). I understand that this is no one's fault, just a linguistic feature, but first time it took me some seconds to understand, they actually announced Yuzu.
-
@Yatagarasuis absolutely right. This is short, more non-official form of the name, Misha (Миша). Long official form: Michaеl, as they usually transcribe it, or, more literally Mikhail (Михаил, "х" sounds like a breath out) I think, Mika derives from this, although it doesn't exist in Russian. But as for "c", I can only guess. Maybe it's a mixture of a long and short forms. Sorry for this off-topic in Yuzu's thread.

I think, we all know, our experience can't be helpful. We are just to worried to not do it. He tried to be positive and to hold on. He failed only in the part about the GPF. Poor Orser.

I sprained my ankle last winter and couldn't walk on my own during a week. My injury wasn't serious. I mean, 10 days of rest is pretty good. If we hear next week that Yuzu starts his training, it will be a relief.
-
Ok. Now I need to find some strength (don't know where) and hold on until Orser will see Yuzu by his own eyes and will give one more interview. Next week, I assume. Mission impossible.

Shame on me and sorry for disinformation.

Wasn't it Voronov's son on ice? I believe, I saw Alexander Plushenko with his father that time (they were sitting far from me, but Plushenko is easy to identify). But this isn't so important. By the way, during the CoR, in the evening, there was a group of flower girls and boys sitting in the tribune in two lines from me when other group was "at work". I mean, they even organized a special additional group to help with the Pooh-rain.
-
Sorry, I can't help it.

Oh, Yuzu I guess, he was cursing his poor English those days. "My idol speaks with me, he tries to teach me something! I'm so excited! Wait, what he says?! No idea... Ok, hold on. Let's just say "yes" and repeat his moves".
-
I understood it only when I saw trainers. About the video - I feel now, I missed his voice a lot. But not simply the voice: the one with a smile inside. May we hear it more in the future.

Exactly my reaction. In my opinion, being in Japan, Plushenko didn't contradicted his own words from the NBC interview too much, so he couldn't make Yuzu upset even if Yuzu happened to watch NBC's interview (there were just different accents, Plushenko tried to be polite in each country). But he always roots for Yuzu. That's why, whatever it is, if it makes Yuzu happy, let it be.

Guys, look, thanks to @Fay's translation the fight with stereotypes continues
-
Help me, stop me, I want to give up all my work and translate Plush's interview (this translation is correct, it just doesn't give the whole justice to the original). But 1) my English isn't good enough for it, 2) I'm sure, somebody will do it properly soon.
-
I think, satellite's birthday is no way off-topic Happy birthday! You have a beautiful aim and a perfect role model! It's never late to improve! Good luck
-
Thanks! Actually, Plush was just perfect in this interview: metaphorical and with good sense of humour. I wonder, whether Japanese translation reflects it.
-
He also said, Yuzu has ballet hands (among other things). Sorry, can't help mention this, coz Yuzu's hands are my personal embodiment of beauty.
-
Indeed, cute "I wish him the fastest recovery, THE FASTEST".

I don't know an equivalent idiomatic phrase in English, but in Russian what Plushenko wrote is an idiom which literally means: "for good memories" or "to leave good memories". The sense is about "I want you to have happy memories about me and this day".
