Long official form: Michaеl, as they usually transcribe it, or, more literally Mikhail (Михаил, "х" sounds like a breath out) I think, Mika derives from this, although it doesn't exist in Russian. But as for "c", I can only guess. Maybe it's a mixture of a long and short forms. Sorry for this off-topic in Yuzu's thread.

In my opinion, being in Japan, Plushenko didn't contradicted his own words from the NBC interview too much, so he couldn't make Yuzu upset even if Yuzu happened to watch NBC's interview (there were just different accents, Plushenko tried to be polite in each country). I don't know an equivalent idiomatic phrase in English, but in Russian what Plushenko wrote is an idiom which literally means: "for good memories" or "to leave good memories". The sense is about "I want you to have happy memories about me and this day".
