  1. ^ Thanks for the quick reply! Even if he was mad, that was a pretty reasonable response. I can only imagine what someone like Kovtun would have said in his place. :silent:
  2. Wow! May I ask what was his comment? I feel so sorry for him. Even if what she said was true, it reflects worse on her than him, really. He was just a teenager dealing with puberty and real back problems and who knows what else.
  3. It was Sochi for me. I originally became a casual skating fan during Vancouver, but I quit watching in disgust after Daisuke got robbed at Worlds 2012. Then Sochi came around and I got the fever again, lol. I was still a big fan of Daisuke & a few other men, but I was fascinated by Yuzuru, he was just like nobody I had seen before. And his reaction to winning was the best thing ever.
  4. I read a rumor on FSU that Ivett Toth's coach dropped her for behavior(!) and that Ivett is in Switzerland now...anyone know anything about that? I wonder if that means Stephane? Although I kind of love how devoted he is to Deniss & I don't know if he's ready to take on another high level skater. There are a couple other possibilities in Switzerland, and I'm just speculating anyway - I haven't seen any official news that she left her coach.
  5. Last I heard, someone had allegedly talked to Alexander Samarin at RusNats (I think it was there anyway) and he said Adian had started doing a little bit of training, but I'm not sure what that meant, like maybe he just pops in to CSKA once in awhile to feel the ice vs being there every day...who knows? The big question is when/if he will be able to train jumps again. I would love to see him back too.
