Hello, I haven’t had the time to come on this forum in a very long time and missed on a lot of stuff but I wanted to know whether it was possible to watch Yuzu’s Gift show in any way? It seems absolutely breathtaking ! I tried on the Disney + platform but it says it is not available in my geographical area… thanks ☺️ 

Music is powerful.  It's true how music can resonate thru you and give you strength.

With a VPN setted on Japan I can watch from my Disney+ account (made years ago). sometimes I need to logout and then login again to switch to japanese content.

I dunno if it's okay to say this, but I only watched GIFT twice and couldn't do it again. I loved it, I truly do, but it's also very depressing for me even if it comes with a happy ending. it resonates personally too much and it's just painful. I can watch the clips though, just not the full show in one go. Maybe I'm the only fanyu feeling this way..

I'm sure that there are others that feel the same way, as there were indeed some heavy themes expressed during the monologues/narrated parts of GIFT.

 

Similar to a novel or film, sometimes we encounter stories that create a lasting impression on us but that we may or may not want to revisit for various reasons.

 

I think it's fine to enjoy what you can 

Takebe san makes certain that people appreciate how much effort Yuzu put into to making Gift such a wonderful experience. Yuzu cannot escape to the back stage area and receives acclaim in front of the spectators and staff present in TD

I cry almost every time I see it, not necessarily during the same moments. Although, for me, the show as a whole ultimately has a purifying effect, for a couple of weeks I put aside everything I could because I couldn't handle more feelings at once. I think that our reactions just prove how profound and authentic a piece of art the GIFT is.

This show was so magical. It transcended figure skating itself, I watched live, even though it was very early for me!

I was very shocked at the deep VCRs Yuzu brought to us during the show, and I understand your feelings, I’m sure other Fanyus feel like you…

Thank you all for validating my feelings. I just don't see any other fan mentioning this, everyone around me seem to watch it on repeat for as long as the stream lasts and I feel so out of place. The fact that Yuzu presented this as a Gift, that we can revisit during hard times, makes me feel bad that I couldn't accept it the way he wanted.
