Just something I saw floating around on the GS boards that I thought was interesting.  They said that USFS after these Olympics might considering asking Orser to coach Nathan (if he continues skating...).  Especially when Javi is retiring, IF they were, do you think Orser would take it?  He already has 3 top students (Yuzu, Cha and maybe Gogolev).  How would you guys feel about it?  On one hand, I know he would ask Yuzu first like he did with Javi (to avoid the whole Yuna situation), but still...

It's just speculation, and I think they meant it as a suggestion that Nathan switch coaches, no official USFSA word out, and the USFSA usually does not force skaters to switch coaches. Honestly, I don't know if BOrser would gel with Nathan, especially as there is Cha still skating. I do wonder though if Nathan would switch fully to a coach like Zueva (Patrick's ex-coach) instead, especially if he still wants to pursue med school.

What I would find highly amusing is if Boyang ever joins TCC. Him and Yuzu both being space cadets and audio nerds. But then I'd really worry for BOrser's hair.

yes until after the actual death day

haha looks like i'll have to drink some exTRA coffee to stay energized for work lol

tbh i just want to hibernate for the next week until olympics are over so i can leave this emotional rollercoaster

Ok i think i'm going to impose a 14 hour ban on internet and figure skating forums so I can sleep and get some work done. Which means I'll probably be skipping any  of Yuzu's practice updates. (probably better for my overanalytic mind:slinkaway:)

See you all on the other side :)

Best of luck to Yuzu! I hope he can stay happy and healthy tomorrow, and show the world his best :)

nerd doing his work

That's an interesting sign coincidence!

Zu, staaaaahp! You cannot be like this!!!

Spoiler

Can you imagine, tho. Him with iced-ankle and his ridiculous glasses, one of his expensive headsets playing probably video games soundtracks (vid-games soundtracks are designed for increasing focus - I listen to them to prepare for exams), and some study materials (do you think it's papers or screen? Probably papers with highlighters and pen for scribbles). I have to stop.

 I'm lowkey loving these parody comics

Yuzu: 'This time for Pyeongchang, I'm going to bring [BEEEP]' ('Pooh' is censored like a swearword lol)

Brian: It's no good Yuzu. Because of grown-up* circumstances, [BEEEP] is a no-go in Pyeongchang. It was like this in Sochi too wasn't it?'

Brian: YUZU----

*'Grown-up' meaning discussions reserved for adults (the way you'd tell a child 'this is a grown-up issue' because the subject is too complicated for them)
