Would it be possible to send him something through Ice Rink Sendai now that he's no longer with JSF? I think they'd make sure he gets it.

This is how I feel too. I wish I had known about him sooner so I could have gone on the competitive journey a little longer. I'm sad that I won't get to experience all that but happy with the decision he has made. He's still going to skate so we'll still get to see him. It doesn't matter where, as it is bound to be amazing! Still processing this though, but I feel calmer about it this morning. I was happy to see him laughing at the presscon so that makes it easier.

Seeing the setup made me sad all of a sudden... I wonder how Yuzu's feeling...

Just a little longer... I keep shifting from being totally calm to being nervous about it.

Wasn't there something saying that he held the Beijing Press-con because he had gotten too many interview requests asking about his future that he decided to just address them all at a conference instead? I could be wrong, but this is what I remember was the reasoning behind it. Could be the same thing here. I know a bunch of media sources were writing about his decision to compete being a mystery still even after his profile update. So maybe he just wants to announce it himself that way without having to meet/be interviewed with all/any in particular (plus sneak in a little more about "Hanyu's figure skating" and gratefulness to the fans).

Maybe he just wants to publicly thank the fanyus for the Pooh Rain/frequent trending (thereby giving him more determination)? I'm just trying to think positive before I go to bed.

Thanks for posting this. I was just going to ask if it will be broadcasted on TV. I won't know what he's saying, but whatever it is, it would be nice to see Yuzu again. P.S. I added this to the Calendar since it helps convert the time for everyone here on the Planet to local time. (I hate doing math to calculate lol)

Miya's concert is bound to bring many fans/visitors to Sendai. Tourism ambassador Yuzu is doing a good job, hehe.

I know what you mean (new fanyu here too). Watching the FaOI broadcasts with everyone and reading the news/messages here on the planet was such a wonderful experience! I can only imagine that new competition program/costume reveals would be as exciting! But most importantly, I pray that Yuzu will be safe and take care of himself

Why is he like this? I'm starting to think that everything he says he likes is a pun for something somewhere: - Chicken wings (wings on his necklaces, Continues, etc.) - Katsu ("to win" as Marika points out) - Shrine statues/ornaments (when/because they're gold ) These are just things from the recent interviews that I can think of. I'm sure there are others out there.

I agree with this as well. I've seen a lot of concerns about this in the other threads as well, especially these last couple of days, so I thought I'd share my thoughts here:

I think that short encore was my favorite out of all 12 FaOI nights, and I wanted it to continue forever (sigh). I've watched that clip at least 20 times today. It's just too beautiful and emotional. Lots of blessings and wishes of good health and rest for you, Yuzu. Thanks for this amazing summer fantasy!

I have no words to express what I'm feeling... just Thank you, Yuzu! This was my first FaOI, and it was such a nice experience sharing it with everyone here on the Planet.

It seems like they finally figured it out. I'm sure these "old" broadcasts will be like drops of gold after today's FaOI closing. I'm getting sad just thinking about it.
