I think that would be a great endeavor and a huge undertaking which he could easily pull off. The concern from a fan's point-of-view is that being an organizer of such an event, or any competition immediately disqualifies our Yuzu from competing himself...so we would not actually see any of his own skating should he do this.

I am so childishly emotional right now at 3:30 am (maybe it’s menopause) but feel like I am going through a break up…. Or is it a break down? Can’t decide

Reuters - he is in a suit

Is this a reliable source, or yet another scam: https://nordot.app/921910358039953408?c=729912671989710848

Can anyone get this article from Eurosport? I am blocked due to my geoblock.

Is there a reason Yuzu would do a press conference in Tokyo as opposed to Sendai? Why would he travel to Tokyo since his media team is at home? If he said he was doing a conference in Sendai, I guarantee the media would race to get there!
-
It looks like that time allocation for the broadcast will cover about 5 different topics, one of which is Yuzu. I am not sure if they will just show a portion of the press conf. I have For Joy TV and it is on channel 004. I would live stream but I have no idea how to.

I live in the desert, so summers are awful here, but I feel bad for anyone suffering through the heat (and Yuzu-related anxiety). There should be a new classification listed in the DSM-V for this kind of anxiety disorder.

It is 39 degrees Celcius (102 F) here in California and it is 1:20 am!!! Besides the ensuing chaos, another reason why I can't sleep!

Thanks @YukokWhen I google translated the article from Nikkansports, it mentioned "According to people familiar with the matter, they were preparing to make a decision and report on their advancement and retreat. After the Beijing Olympics in February, when the quad Axel (four and a half jumps), which he had been pursuing as a dream, was certified for the first time in the world, he did not say anything about his departure, but he intends to hold a press conference in Tokyo earlier this month. It is said that it has hardened." Clearly this is impossible to understand as it translates poorly. Is this anything like what it actually meant?

Thanks. That is what I suspected but thought it may be a bit more info. @themoonknows. Yeh, just what we need to add to the anxiety... why would he hold a press conference if he WAS competing?

@Kizuna. I have used Twitter translate and still not sure what this is actually about/what the jist of this is?

I have always (silently) called Yuzu "Yuzu-the Guru" for this reason. He leads by his light, positivity and inner groundedness. He is deeply connected with the divine realm, and he channels the qualities of an angel.

OR...maybe UK and Finland agreed to host if they were guaranteed Yuzu, but now Yuzu has told them he is not going to do the GP, so everyone is derailed?

@YuDai What is the rumor's source lol?

That lovely DEEP voice in the post-finale interview. We need more of that Mr Hanyu!

Anyone see that advert where they made Yuzu wear that green shirt and spotted tie? Or was it a striped tie on a spotted shirt. I feel bad for him because if he dressed himself he would have better taste I am sure.

Marika just said they still don't know in Japan either. It will be a surprise.

It looks like they may have just superimposed an outfit onto the real video of him talking. I envision him standing in his room with training gear on, saying his speech while recording himself with his iPhone, and then sending the recording to the advertising team. The "stylist" (read: photoshop person) puts a "virtual" (oversized) shirt onto the video he sent? Imo it didn't look very professional, but maybe they were going for the "beam me up Scotty" Star Trek kind of feel.

We wont be able to get the terrestrial/local channels unfortunately😟

Today I received my Yuzu'll Be Back IV photo book. It was just breathtaking to look through...so beautiful. The inside front cover is delightful too. What was odd to me is that there was very little Japanese writing anywhere in the book, except what appears to be the publisher's information on the last page. Based on videos of flip-throughs I have seen of previous volumes, there was plenty of Japanese writing, sometimes whole pages. Also, I did not see any credits to the photographers. Do they make different editions for different markets?

I posted this on the General forum originally but maybe I should have posted it here: I found an interesting analogy of Raison in the Demon Slayer Game/Series. Open to interpretation, it seems like an analogy for the costume and theme for Raison can be found in Demon Slayer, a game Yuzu is said to like. The game/series is about keeping one's integrity while being attacked by evil (corruption in figure skating). Apparently, a demon slayer bite by a demon becomes gradually more purple around the wound. It is here I am thinking about his costume with dark purple on the left side/arm radiating outward (? from Yuzu's wound). Taken from cbr.com: "Towards the end of the Demon Slayer series, some of the most powerful demon slayers started to acquire a demon slayer mark. This mark appears on the body of a powerful demon slayer, and appears to be a tattoo or a birthmark that reflects the breathing style that they use. Once it appears on one demon slayer, the mark inevitably appears on others.” The mark grants the user increased power, as well as the ability to slow the regeneration of demons. In order to activate it, the user must go through life-threatening conditions, and will inevitably die when they reach the age of 25. Despite the increased power, it reduces their life span due to the strain on their bodies. Not every demon slayer was able to gain a mark, but they would have greatly benefited from obtaining one during their battles. Does this sound familiar or what??? I even found a picture of a demon slayer with similar purple markings: https://imgur.com/a/MNx7zDy
