I absolutely LOVE that after all the “doomposting” on social media, his heartfelt interviews and his latest “I will be skating considering my feelings on Beijing”, he delivered what I’ve been hoping for: a camp, fun, some people using the word “cringe”, 100% him performance. FaOI is (in)famous for its campiness, and I was really hoping that these performances this month would deliver the kind of fun and worry-free time that this fandom and him needed. At least for this first day, that’s what it was delivered. I cannot even worry about retirement when I’m giggling knowing that the whole “pouring water over yourself” segment was probably, 100%, his own idea. That he mis-buttoned his shirt on purpose. And that his jumps look airy and beautiful. We will have a full month of this, hope we can enjoy it and be happy that he looks so happy. I’m happy

In his very “Hanyu’s own skating” way… Who knows what this journey is gonna bring him now forward? What a day, I did not expect the full interview already at all! Thank you so, so much for all satellites putting together resources for us to try to catch faoi livestream! I’m still undecided about some that look too good to be true, but just the fact we have the information is amazing! Maybe is just me spending way too much time online, but I can sense a lingering excitement about being able to see Yuzu again, like electricity in social media LOL Hope we get some nice, drama-free (or the least drama as possible) month!

@lajoitko beat me to it today hehe Yuzu has stayed and has expressed that he is staying true to himself and his own vision of figure skating, persistently. I thank him for that, truly a light in the midst of controversies. Now we wait for more news on the broadcasting, gearing up here to figure if I will need a vpn or not!

Thank you so much @birnasan! I will ask here for all fanyus to be a little vigilant on this; this fandom is a little too big to self police, but I know that the first place I saw the first translation being reposted was on reddit. On twitter things are a little bit more easier to take down, but reddit users have zero accountability. So let’s just make sure we at least attend the wishes of someone who is sharing this with us for free and out of just passion for the subject.
