    Yeah I know, it's all a joke. Silly over-the-top exaggeration is a way to get laughs. xD I teach young kids myself, so yes, this is a very effective way. And if quite a couple of TJ have received help from him in jumps, it means he knows how to cater to different needs.

    Ah I see! I learnt smth new! As a linguistic student it is interesting to me. Nvr knew abt the connotations in Japanese. Re: Orser, not sure. Too little info. I do admit she could have worded it more carefully, like perhaps (not sure if Japanese has any direct translation) re-use, reinvented, relaunched, or 'Hanyu returns as Seimei' or smth like that. But since I'm not the author, I don't know what were her thoughts while writing and I shall not presume.

    I see I see...well, ppl who dont think/speak well of him will always continue to do so, no point arguing with them since they already have decided to stick with their own stance. Besides, let's just keep the good stuff to ourselves. Our boy is too good. (interesting to note diff reactions to this word. The English-speaking fandom seems to take it more as inside joke amongst fandom (all for fun and not to talk bad) and it's also a common term to describe bringing back a programme. Guess it has diff connotations outside English, either that or the writer used the term in a negative and not so kind manner.)

    It's a rippon, not a tano, he has two arms aloft. Janny does tanos, whereas Yuzu sticks to rippons afaik.
