The music program, my gosh, so much to say and too little time...(why do I have to work and why do I need to sleep?) so for now just this: I wish there were more programs like this. Idk if it's my hyper focus on Yuzu, but I felt that lately the quality of jpn FS related programs had declined (western programs are mostly nonexistent so couldn't really get much worse). Not anymore the in-depth analysis like in that Yuzu road to Sochi doc, mostly just hyping up jump BV or number of quads and parroting narratives, little talk about everything concerning performance aspect and relation to music... most of the recent exceptions being Yuzu related. But this? This is the kind of program that, while being fascinating both for noobs and for people already into either music or FS, also brings you on a journey that will leave you a bit more in love with FS and with music both (and with even greater respect and admiration for the people who present their work so passionately and intelligently!) Yuzuruskating really is the best Fugureskating can be and Yuzuru has such a special link with Music. While FS community is hampered by backroom deals and stifling interests (also, deep-seated real ignorance. Never seen a sport where not knowing sh1t about the sport&its actual rules is so normalized ETA: I meant within the skating community, the people practicing teaching judging and writing about the sport), professionals in other fields are able to recognize Yuzuru's skills, vision and passion for his craft. I'm happy that the whole segment is being translated and subbed, it's truly one of those vids you wanna rewatch again and again while understandanding everything is being said. A feast for senses and for mind! Uh I'm blabbing more than I expected and haven't even actually got in depth about anything specific .. running to bed now! Ahah I definitely felt this and I'm not even a Palace inhabitant so many things and do little time, thank you to all satellites who upload the broadcasts and all Yuzu snippets, or I would have missed so much (I still have to start the new year program😅) and how is it already time for the music talk special? Gotta say I'm really looking forward to the chat with Kyozuka san, hopefully it won't be shamelessly cut like the talk with Uchimura (but we're getting the whole talk there too, so yay for us! Fuji plz stop inserting unrequited side dishes!🙏) Ok but why can he look this good with the plainest piece of clothing ever? Anyway thanks to Yuzu's obsession with gyozas, I made gyozas for the first time (kinda, the shape was...um, rather creative), they were quite good for first try, I'm a proud satellite OMG they're so precious Btw, thank you for reorganizing the video section! who would have thought we'd be so flooded with Yuzu appearances despite 0 comps?

Happiest new year to the Planet, and of course to Yuzu! No matter the bumpy road, 2022 brought us so many beautiful surprises! May 2023 be full of even more beautiful surprises (and fewer bumps!)!!!

Happy merry Christmas satellites who celebrate and happy merry sunday to everyone 🤗 Travel and family kept me busy so I missed the twitter meltdown, only saw it when the account was already back😅 lucky me, I guess! But I didn't miss the new video and, oh my gosh! (in shocked voice about costume, awed voice about the skating) About costume, gonna file it under sartorial choices I'll probably never understand...but alas, after a series of great costumes it was bound to happen at a point, and Dory taught me that sometimes my aesthetics just don't align with his But the skating? I haven't seen the lyrics translations yet, so I'm still missing a bit, but gosh, the richness of elements, the endless spin, the awesome SE, the IB shot, the delayed1A3T --such an unusual thing, to see more rotations on the second jump, it's mesmerising-- and all the quads/attempts, and then of course the storytelling, culminating with the 3Yuzus, young fearless bb Zu, the amateur senior skater Zu at his best(regardless of results and judges) and then our pro-athlete Zu, jumping together...all the Yuzus he's been leading to the current Zu, and a story that keeps going on🥺 Once again, thank you Yuzu for the gift! It was unexpected, and he really didn't have to do that (something that clearly required so much thinking, planning and editing). Even the simple fact that he wanted to gift us this is the happiest thing Hugs to all satellites

Oh my, the new GIFT "teaser" has such a good clip selection, and why does it feel like trailer for an anime? He could really train as a seiyuu, he has such a pleasant voice and quite a range too (of course, talking and dubbing as a profession are very different, but IMO some smaller collabs would be very doable!) Speaking of which, he gonna be on the radio next week! The 100mx50m rink is both scary and a dream to imagine, but gonna be once more a party pooper and point out that Yuzuru would need to 1) further increase his stamina, to fill such a surface the way he fills oly-sized rinks 2) adapt his programs, something really not easy to do since there are no such rinks existing, where he could actually train and prepare the choreo beforehand. Idk how many days(?) he'll have to rehearse in TD either, but I bet he won't have much time. So these are very real logistic issue (I mean, logisticis are the real party pooper here, not me!) Still, it's nice to imagine what can be. I'll add: natural frozen ice surface come in all kind of size and shape and one could just skate with the flow there👀👀 so, I hope at some point ---preferably this year (I wish!)--- Yuzuru gets to do that too, somehow. Skating freely out there, surrounded by nature (and cameras! Because if it ever happens I NEED to get all the footage!😠)

I saw that! though, not to be a party pooper but in english it just talks about rink ratio which is 2:1, so the same as a 60x30m rink, it doen't really say it will be 85x42.5m... in his other TV appearances ---like when he did a tour of Sendai local programs LOL, but also the new pics about the special talk with Kyozuka and this last suitZuru surprise appearance--- he seesm to go for formal outfits (and fitted suits! Something I would have hard time to believe till not so long ago), but maybe, since it was for a radio show, he went for practicality charitable rose-colored glass POV: they're paying due homage to the skater who's been the face of Jpn skating for a good decade, as they should! cynic POV: well, tbh I don't think this kind of promo will particularly draw people besides those who were already thinking to follow the comp For me, this JNats will finally be one that I can comletely skip. No more Christmas&co spent with my heart in my throat obsessively refreshing to get Team designations - like in 2017 and 2018 - or experiencing the competition jitters --and heartbreaks (2019)--. Of course, I'll miss the ebullience of long-awaited Yuzu appearances&new programs&whatever else benign chaos he could unleash the past two Nats, and the utter joy happy Yuzu jumping on podium and then the gift of his gala programs, but these past month we've been having lots of happy, smiley, healing Yuzuru, so I can't really complain I'll still catch straw updates coming my way for the ladies, but honestly don't know if I'll even watch anything at all BUT it looks like I'll still need to balance family&cooking preparations(and/or sleep) for livestreaming/updates XDD and so kind of Yuzu to make not one but several appearances right after I said I missed him I read the same speculations about TBS, but I have no further insights to add to the debate It actually had not occured to me, at first, the chance of no livebroadcast, because in the last few years almost every Zu appearance got boradcast at some point, even if not integrally at least a cut If no broadcast, I'll probably die inside a little then I'd hope at the very least for a DVD later, even if it's not ideal (even more than higher cost compared to a possible livestream through normal TV subscription or a dedicated one, it's because idk if I'd even be able to watch a DVD at all, might need a specific dvd recorder? stupid regions thingies) tbh, I think broadcasters would be very stupid not to cover such an unprecedented event. Like, not only broadcast, it deserves a full behind the scenes documentary! Unless Yuzuru already opted to keep everything for DVD release.... I guess we have to wait for next Yuzu updates (crossing everything in the meanwhile)!

it looks so awesome and I am so hyped! I wonder if the ice rink will be standard olympic size or...something else... 99,9999% of chances it will be a pretty standard rink, because of logistics of creating temporary rink, mantaining it, zamboni&co... but in the meanwhile, I'm having fun imagining each sort of inconventionlly shaped huuuuuuge rinks XDD I remember some fans "put" a 60x30m ice rink on the map of TD, to have an idea of the proportions, and it's smaller than a baseball field, so it means there would be room for seats on the "flat" portion of the arena, but that's usually not a thing for FS because audience besides the first couple of rows wouldn't be able to see anything... so I'm also wondering how exactly they'll place the seats. And will the screens be used for choreo only, or to allow people sitting further up to get close ups of Zu? (well,they are selling binoculars, so pretty much telling people to come ready, just in case XD) How do we know there will be new programs? Have I missed some interview? I mean, I do think chances of at least a newprogr are high, since TD is the chance for more extensiveuse of mapping &other sorts of effects compared to Prologue, and is the perfect chance to do somehting no other arena could let him do. But some of his older programs could work pretty well in a theatrical setting. Think about NDP or POTO, music was composed with the fusion of sound&image in mind to begin with. But also Etude, NS....so many programs that could fit very well visual effects (though, thinking about copyright, might limit the selection of pieces, take H&L, it's unlikely e'll ever see the original 4.30min long program). It's an ice story and a gift, so it will probably also tie in with Yuzuru's story, his past, like in Prologue. I for once wish he'd bring TenChi. And H&L, but especially TenChi. It is a program that encapsulates his own "ice story" too when I went to Milan worlds, there was no real-Yuzu (sob), but there was a big panel (iirc Edea) with full figure pics of some skaters including Seimei Yuzu and I definitely stared at it for a long time. Actually, everyone took pics and stared, felt like a pilgrimage So if I were in that store and I saw such a pic, I'd certainly stop and stare for a looooooong time Must be nice to live in a place where there's a Yuzu at every corner, on tv, where you don't need to use proxy to get merch, you can make a one-day Sendai trip to visit an exhibition and you can actually enter ticket lottery without too much stress (of course you stress about lottery results, but that kind of stress is already a "privilege" for many of us int fans...) Anyway, Zu, when you have time, feel free to drop a pic on your insta or upload you daily cool down on YT, we really don't need anything fancy, just say hi now and then (yes, I know it's only been barely a week since Hachinohe, and even less since his bday events, but feels soooo long I just go from feeling like because too much Yuzuru content to because I miss Yuzuru. No inbetweens!)

I hope Yuzuru is having the coziest happiest bday as a fan, I had thus far "witnessed" bdays that he spent (under spoiler cuz not exactly pleasant recollections) generally speaking, his bday fell on a very busy and/or particularly difficult time of his competitive season, so each one was probably not lived in the best of moods, with everything going on, the burdens and worries... and every time I sent my bday wishes, I felt I needed to somehow help him mend his heart... but this year, Yuzuru is free, healthy (as far as we know, his condition in Hachinohe Prologue surely looked great!) and dare I say, definitely happy after just finishing the most successfull professional-athlete debut EVER and soaking in all the well-deserved love and cheering I hope Yuzu can look back at everything that happenned since last December, as I'm doing, and be very proud of everything he achieved, and fired up for what's next, and most of all, feel really, truly HAPPY to be alive and be our amazing, funny, suprising, smart, caring, fiercest, gentlest Yuzuru Hanyu Happiest bday to Yuzuru, and happy celebration for us!!! This gif of happy Yuzu is all for us! To many more days of happy Yuzu! Cheers! Same!!! I was wondering when we'd be seeing him next...and he announced THIS! I am mind blown! It's gonna be such an event! Even if we know still nothing about it aside Yuzu being there! And if could even secure such a place, means sponsors are VERY happy and very confident! (Prologue numbers don't lie but still such an unprecedented leap!)
