  1. 'til now in the past years we had backstage snippets. I miss them.
  2. To the newer satellites: We are chatting in the GIFT thread - if we are able to chat... GIFT thread on the planet
  3. How huge is that! Bravo Yuzuru! Yesss - livestream seems to work for me. Good luck everybody for that!
  4. Of course we are . Being a fan of the best obliges. He makes this community so great because of his character. I thank the nice fans for guiding us through KKTIX to get a ticket! See you all in a few hours to receive the big .
  5. Now we will have a GIFT live thread on the planet, right?
  6. Oh come on. Just add the latest news to your imagination: that a handful more eyes are watching live... Nothing big, just something... absolutely huge?
  7. Okay, time for tears. Thank you for continuing to skate back then, Yuzu! Best choice.
  8. Yes, Otoñal! I absolutely love the start and ending poses. And everything between.
  9. @Planet Hanyu Staff Thank you for organising the worldwide trending #Gift_DisneyPlus event and everyone who participated! It's nice to see positive things trending on twitter.
  10. Yes I know. That's another reason why we have been blessed with so many great performances. But he did say afterwards, he was very nervous, so I hope he can do what he loves most at Tokyo Dome and enjoy every minute. We readily take on the excess tension, aren't we. No one ever talked about calmer times anyway after July 19th.
  11. It occured to me that I need to think of a strategy against nervousness for three weeks from today. Whether I'm watching live or depending on tweets, how am I going to calm down half an hour before the show starts while the master himself is taking a nap backstage? Assuming that's not the case - how on earth will he deal with the nervousness? Well, it's not the first time he's gone on stage, but seriously, it's not like he can take a sedative.
  12. It is a great article! Thank you very much.
  13. Dear Yuzuru We look forward to Gift, lightheartedly hoping that you will once again surpass yourself. Then the warning spreads, your third autobiography is painful to read. I am so sorry that we could not help you! You were suffering and we knew it. We saw your pain, we felt your disappointments. It must have been so hard for you. You always knew everyone was watching you. You were expected to come in first, then you had to be composed, you answered the incomprehensible with the utmost respect for everyone. You entertained at gala rehearsals, one wished from you to be funny and cute after the actual competition, but you were hurt and we knew it. You dried our tears, you never gave up and showed us professionalism in so many ways. You smiled to comfort us. You encouraged us with your determination. We thought, maybe it's okay. Maybe you were strong enough to bear everything. You were used to the pain. We don't know how, but you got through it without losing your love for figure skating. How is it that you are the one who gives the most thanks? It seems that you are happy again. It's a gift for us. Let's live this year together "in good spirits, just like the bouncing bunnies." We hope the new chapter in your life will lead to a happy Aoi Hono IV.
  14. I had a bit of a shock when I saw the crying emoji in the tweet. But after translating the content, I was redeemed. Now it's not Yuzu, but already the messages from Yuzu's fans that make me cry (youtube channel community). I think it's wonderful how the whole fan community is trying to encourage and reassure Yuzu because we know he always wants to do his best and he is so strict with himself.
  15. Finally he can hear us again, not only read! A whole venue screaming just for him! How I wish to be there and see him happy about that!
  16. (As we discussed some earlier time, I still think that regularly coaching would not be his happy path. So I'm glad he doesn't think about coaching yet. (I mean: Yuzu at the boards, wearing a coat instead of jumping up and down and lip-syncing, not putting a foot on the ice? Really?) Sorry, I don't want to bring back this discussion. ) What I actually wanted to say, is: Am I the only one who finds him particularly attractive in this picture? Edit: typo
  17. Thank you for the good wishes for the new year and for the latest posts with subtitles everyone! I know a bit about playing classical music, and it's interesting to see how Yuzu moves different while listening to / being into the music (without skating). @Hanmgse Congratulations to your 1111th post - this is a good omen for 2023 . @BWOZWaltz Thank you for the translation in the live NHK-Chat! @axelsandwich I didn't know you were a satellite... Thank you so much for all your great translation work! I appreciate it very much!
  18. Olympic Seimei reached 30 million views!
  19. I want to see him SKATE. Happily, handsomely, heavenly skate.
  20. Thank you for your sacrifice! Perhaps you can take it as a sign that you are true to your word. Fortunately, you can mend a lot these days. I wish you much patience and good recovery!
  21. Yuzuru: Okay, see you tomorrow! Secretariat Sendai Rink: Sorry, tomorrow the rink isn't free. Local competition. Y: Great, can I participate? S: But you don't do competitions anymore. Y: Ah, right. If I just sneak in for a few minutes? S: People will recognize your training gear. Y: Hm, then I could - S: No, your costumes are distinctive! Y: I'll wear shirt and trousers. S: Well... then maybe... Y: I only need some ice time. S: But only a few minutes before the competition starts. Y: I'm just going to warm up a bit on the ice. S: And don't think about doing an original Olympic program! Y: Promise. S: And you won't do conspicuous stuff? Y: I'll move as I always do. S: If you don't keep your promises, I will call the media! Y: Well, why not... S: Okay, you won. Y: Of course. Thank you. <PW with 4T, 3A, 3A-3T> S: Hanyu-senshu!! Y: I always keep my promises. S: The media are already calling! Y: Give them my regards. I'm off. S: How are we going to organize the next local competition now? Y: Let me know if you need any help. S: You just let me do my job! It will take hours for everything to get back to normal here. Y: Okay, see you tomorrow! S: Uuh... again? Y: Don't worry. I just need some time on the ice.
  22. Wow. Yuzuru really performs for everyone - for the audience abroad at international tournaments, for Olympic staff, in Tokyo Dome, for domestic Japanese fans, for relatives of a children's competition. I have great respect for his down-to-earthness. He shows no airs and graces, in fact he felt anxious/nervous today. He's going to perform at the Tokyo Dome (did I already mention that?), but today he appeared out of the blue and performed an Olympic program for a couple of people who weren't expecting him (that is what I call winning the lottery!). He encourages these kids, among whom some were probably not even born in 2014 when he won with PW. He skates and performs because he loves to do it. By the way, I like that you can see his breath. He said that he also rehearses the breathing rhythm in the choreography. First time I see it.
