Yuzu-cam was on mode today, thanks TV Asahi, and I loved it. Loved all the Yuzu-camera interaction, I don't know whether he is aware that we are watching from all over the world, most probably he was interacting for Japanese people in cinemas and home, nevertheless it's nice that he is so aware of his surrounding and pleases the ones looking from home. I lost a few years of life after the first slip of his 3A (and just before I was thinking , "oh God, it's a live show, he's going to fall isn't it? Happy Anniversary PH!!! Even if I'm on silence right now, I still read all of you! So here my answer: When did you become a fan of Yuzu? April 2020, sadly I'm a late bloomer... unfortunately covid made me a fan. I mean, I had a lot of time during lockdown and Youtube suggested Wolds 2019 but there was no skaters I followed so I snobbed it. And the first comment in the man event was something like "post 2017, that was a wonderful championship where world champions were actually champions" so I got curious and watched it. Boom! I was an instant fan of The Man. (and he skated in a purple dress which is my favorite color and the next day to that legendary free so how could I not become insta-fan?), Anyway I degrees, the question was "when" not "please tell me your life story"... When and why did you sign up for Planet Hanyu? I've been reading PH since JNats2020, but singed up during world 2021 because I had the need to bookmark some posts and came out of lurker status after the olympic free (I did need some theraphy, thank you everyone for saving my sanity). Did you make any irl friends through Planet Hanyu? Sadly no, because, you know... covid happened when I became a fan.... maybe in the future? Have you participated in any group projects on Planet Hanyu? No... wait? Is the skating party considered a group project? Because I think I've participated in the very first even if I wasn't signed up... Did you attend any meetups with other satellites at competitions? Geez, seriously? This is heartbreak after heartbreak! Now I'm conflicted. I want him to go back in Japan and never compete again because every time he appears apparently there is some enemy that comes out. On the other hand I want him to go to Worlds without 4A and win that sh!t show just because. (Of course I don't want him to go if he is hurt). I hope that next Fantasy on ice he will ask "hey which foreign skater will you invite?" and when he reads JF and JW names he says "nope, not coming, sayounara, I'm not skating with them. Have fun with your empty seats at the show". I'm bitter tonight! I guess his popularity makes the worst come out of people. Maybe it's our fault? We love him too much and the other skaters need attention or they will become 5 years old?

Antis will slander him because he is breathing so I won't give them time but I loved that he mentioned the two Olyimpic golds. Call me bad but that's how I feel (and I'm not as good as Yuzu, not even half as good. Sorry not sorry). So yes, let's remind them that you are a two time Olyimpic "renpa" champion because a lot of people seems to have forgotten that.

I don't think he needs another olympic title for him to be cemented in history books, he is already there. But of course if this is his next goal I will support him. I would love to see him skate in Milano (hello??!!, Italian here who just discovered - well 2 years ago - this wonderful man so of course I would like a chance to have him in my country) but only if he's doing it for himself and not for the fans. He loves to skate, I think he is the only person on this planet who can say he loves to skate and actually means it so if he's doing that for the love of it, I'd say go for it! But first your health Yuzu!!! I don't want you to develop stomach problems or worst liver or kidneys problems because of painkillers. I know that him skating at competitive level for so long is unrealistic. I would like for him to skate only triples in his FP and keep going because this is the only chance that his world's fans have to see him. So that it's less stressful on his ageing body (even if his skating is still improving). But at the end of the day, I don't want to see him disappointed with the competition and right now if you don't skate with quads and land them PCS don't come. On the contrary PCS are rewarded to people who have bad skating skills. So to sum it up, yes I would love for him to keep going, health first, his happiness first, but I see it as it is. He doesn't own us anything, he already gave us a lot so whatever he will decided. And as for the 4A... I do believe that his ankle prevented him for lending it because he was so close! And I would love for him to land it in competition just to shut up the rest of the world. But I think he finally understands the toll the jump had on his body and maybe he's finally able to say goodbye to a perfect landing. If he wants to keep going I will cheer for him and his success, if not I will be happy to have witnessed the first man attempting it on Olympic ice and almost succeeding during a pandemic. (No one will try to land one at the Olympics during a pandemic! Or I hope so...). but again your health first!!

Covid needs to go away! People should cheer for the skaters when watching and there should be an audience to scream for them. Yuzu gets so much from the reaction of the people around him, it's obvious that he loves to entertain people. The best part of this Olympics was Yuzu's post competition practices. Watch tomorrow (if he's going) have a full house of screaming voluntaries and other media people. Is this how he train alone at night? going form one sp to another? Can we have a documentary of him or, I don't know, NHK broadcasting all his training sections? Views will be higher than when the last group skated!

It's not even his fault he didn't podium (like some want to make us believe) because it was a bunch of circumstances out of his power. We are sad because he is sad but if soon he comes out and say "guys I'm really fine with what happened", good the mood will change. I agree. As much as I'd love for him to keep going and just skate because he loves it, this situation must be tiring, exhausting. I can answer right away that I would give up. And I'm also afraid that if he keeps going and keeps challenging the 4A the judges will never give it to him anyway. I know that when he lends it and there is no doubt that it is clean, there will be an uproar of mega proportion, but I don't think it will do any good anyway as long as newspapers (from important country) won't talk about unfairness. On the bright side, Yuzu is gaining respect from people that have never watched figure skating. But right now after the Bee bee whaterver his name is mascot account, I'm scared that everyone is out there using Yuzu's name for clicks.

I do believe that if you only cares about medals it's recommended to retire after an olympic one. So as your "achievements" don't go down. Yuzu of course is not all about medals (don't get me wrong I know he likes to win) but he loves the pureness of figure skating. So that's why the most want NC to retire. I do hope his love for skating hasn't diminish because of this Olympics and that he can keep on challenge the 4A, just for himself. But I won't fault him if he had enough of this... how do you call it? Clownery? Yep. And thanks for explaining why JSF "hates" him so much. I'm more amazed that he didn't give in and stay true to himself. I think this is another reason, among the thousands out there, that fans love him. Yes let's give him chocolates!
