Freyuru

My mum watched the FS replay last night on Eurosport UK.. she only saw Yuzu and Nathan. Probably the last time my mother watched skating was back in the days of Torvill and Dean. However much to my delight, she said "oh the first guy in the black and gold is extremely good, the other guy is good, but definitely not in the same league at the first guy" She couldn't believe when i told her that "the other guy" won.. But without doubt Yuzu is gaining fans daily worldwide, in Nathan's case i think his fans will only ever be his fellow country people.

I was watching this live, and it did seem that he was referring to himself that he didn't consider himself a true champion unless he won the Olympics, and I don't think he was throwing shade at Nathan. But I can see how it could be perceived that way. I think he realised after he said it though because he made a few funny faces once he finished speaking.

I mean no disrespect to Nathan. He did skate superbly today but i have a feeling in my gut, that judges are overscoring Nathan to help create a big rivalry between Nathan and Yuzuru for the next 4 years. It has always been said that Yuzuru is unbeatable when he skates clean, but like Yuzu said today, if he had skated clean on both programs, he wouldn't have beat Nathan this year. But yet if you watch both programs for both skaters, Yuzu's are on another level to Nathan. I hope the judges going forward do their job and judge the skating, instead of creating drama for the ISU to cash in on!!

So came home from work, planted myself in front of my tv (before kids and husband came home) to watch Yuzuru's performance today and not be interrupted. I had recorded Eurosport UK coverage, and went straight to Yuzuru's performance, sat there, saw the popped sal... but then as i watched the performance I couldn't get over how bad it was... i was thinking why is everyone saying his performance was beautiful.... it is completely off... so watched it a few times, and i was like, that is the worst performance he has ever done of this. Why can't people see it!!! Then I noticed it............ the audience started clapping for his combination.. and yet i didn't hear the applause for almost a second after... the whole bloody recording is completely out of sync.. so went online to watch his performance and then discovered that of course it was bloody brilliant!! Can't wait for Saturday.. as we know anything happen.

Hi All I unfortunately cannot edit in any shape or form, but i do love a good fan edit. I have a track that i came across online. Have no idea of the original source, but I would love love love to see a fan edit of Yuzuru made to the track. The song is a remix of a worldwide famous theme tune but i think with Yuzuru's dynamic skating and off ice antics, it could really make a great edit. If anyone is interested in hearing it or taking the project on. I would love to be able to help or forward on the track.

I love the way he drops his head exactly on the lowest piano note before he starts that amazing last step sequence at the end of Ballade No. 1. I adore and i watch out for it in all the competition videos online.

Well I am surprised to say that no one guessed the right answer. But the program which caught my attention and just bowled me over was "Worlds 2012 Nice R&J1" It came up as a recommendation on You Tube, and i just clicked on it.. and that was it!! That program was just so powerful and completely took my breath away, and then once I saw Let's go Crazy, I realised what a sexy man he became!! I'm a huge fan of the white LGC costume from Skate Canada!! Glad to have discovered this great community!!

Someone help me, I'm a new fan of Yuzuru and I am completely hooked!! I can't sleep.. i can't work .. all because i am consumed by watching this man!! He is unbelievable, I cannot get enough. Why did it take me so long to discover him, and of course what was the program that caught my attention!!! Would anyone like to hazard a guess as to what program that caught my attention?

Can someone help. I have previously seen a photo of Yuzu that was taken at Olympics 18 while he was hugging Javi just before medals ceremony. It was taken underneath Yuzu's arm and it was beautiful!! Would love to see it again.
