Haru yo koi or seimei (GPF2015 Seimei was what truly made me a fan. It was linked as "here's the current world record" and the performance was just WOW. And then I realized "Isn't this the guy who was so amazing in that Olympics performance?") otonal or origin (Hmm... Difficult since I like both about 50-50. Hmm... Otonal for completeness?) hope and legacy or requiem of heaven and earth crystal memories or Masquerade (This is actually not an easy choice for me. Honestly, at the moment I think I enjoyed watching CM more in person. I'm just captured by the beauty: the spread eagles, giant leap, ending... I loved it. Masquerade is superior in the TV recordings, when you can see his expression well! It's just amazing and fire! I ended up just seeing his back in those moments ^^; and I worried with the falls and for the rest I was kinda blown away but I love the wildness and how different the program is so it wins in the end.) Phantom of the Opera/Otonal HyK/Origin Notte Stellata/Requiem (Swanyu is my fave EX) Masquerade/LGC (um difficult... different things I love about both...) Chopin/R&J (either versions) (1.0!) CM/Change Seimei/H&l PW/Etude (I adore the Etude costume, but PW was the first program I ever watched )

Who can predict the up and downs of the coming years? (even if I wish I could to lessen my anxiety, haha) most important thing is health and happiness. He's already achieved his biggest dream at PC, and I look at all achievments in competition after that as a precious bonus, cherries on top... If he were to get the jumps he dreams of, and in condition and belief he can still stand at the top then, I can see him going for it. It would certainly be something not even his tiny self dreamed or imagined... when I think of him mentioning achieving his past self's dreams. I hope he can achieve his current dreams, for himself. There's a thousand possibilities. If he stays competing every year, if he were to take a year off to keep good condition, or whatever could happen. I agree he probably has a plan A, B, C. If he goes as far as he can go like he said in the interview... wonder where he ends up. That said, is there one person that could make the impossible/a miracle happen I think we all know who it is.

I'll always be sad for the second part of COR and what it caused, but I also agree about season after all. He still achieved a lot (6 WRs, 4T3A, beautiful and memorable performances) in so few competitions. And if before ACI he only had the vague idea of 4A as a goal but were unsure of the rest... I think he now has a clearer picture of what he wants to do and the fire back, so I don't think anything has been in vain.

Ok, so now I bring back something old from this thread. I read about Yuzu dyeing his hair that one time and went to look for the pics. I'm really curious how it ended up just being for a single night? xD wish they'd aired fotage of this night, haha. I wonder how it would look now if he dyed his hair.

A simple question: I'm taking a beginner's course in japanese and I'm writing my final essay about "my best memory". I decided to write about Helsinki and I just have one question. How should I refer to Yuzuru? Is writing Hanyu-kun/Yuzuru-kun too informal in that kind of essay? Should I use his entire name? Senshu? I feel clueless and it's supposed to be in in a few hours (btw, I'd really like a streaming party!)

Omg... how many evenings have been lost to this... major warning!! So, last night I had a dream he landed the 4A. But... somehow I totally missed it. So during the replay someone was shouting at me, "oh my god he landed it, how could you miss it!" (I had thought it was a 3A...) and I went all, "whaaaaaaat" That's all I can remember from the dream, that shout and the image of him jumping, hahaha.

I would love to see more of the Y spiral... that said, a question since I have no clue: would a spiral be useful in a competitive program or is it more for an ex?

Honestly, when I first became a fan I kind of lacked to courage to go to a competition in person. I regret that way of thinking now. I worried so much about the results (and my local hockey team always loses when I go, I felt like I'd curse the competition like a bad luck charm xD) That way of thinking has changed. It's just a joy to see him on the ice, no matter if its a program or training. Mistakes or not in the competition, I think his performances are amazing to see. It's totally worth it to go no matter what. It makes me think of that interview where he talks about giving his all every time because it might be the only chance someone in the audience has to go see him.

Otonal was the first program I saw him perform in person... The step sequence is like a dream, that dramatic beginning when he throws himself into it and then suddenly it's at the end and it's like a magic spell ended and you woke up... That was my impression, haha. I loved it. I thought if he'd keep one it would be Origin since he couldn't perform it to it's full potential due to injury. But I'd love to see two new programs. I dunno what to pick... but let's do some wild guesses to cover all bases to win nothing. As I got no clue what to pick that hasn't been said here already, I went to a random song generator and now got some daring music choices! SP: Rage Against The (ISU) Machine - Killing In The Name An interesting pick..... FS - Alexander Scriabin - Symphony No.1 in E-major, Op.26 EX: Linking Park - In the end. Now I'm having flashbacks to AMV's I watched about ten years ago.... Thanks random music generators (https://www.randomlists.com/random-songs & https://classicalmusiconly.com), I had very fun imagining skating to some of the songs, hehe. Now I almost want to guess even more programs. Also, I was was watching some of my videos I took in Helsinki practice lately and I've got a video of Yuzu skating around while Boyang's FS music is playing and one where he jumps just as the techno part of what I think is Jun's R&J begins, so another wild guess! Either of those kinds of music haha. I also imagine a black swan EX. Make it a triology! Here the most fun part is imagining the costume though

He clearly needs to be clad in that gorgeous, skintight, american flag patterned suit posted how many pages back! It'll help decrease resistance and allow for faster rotation!!!

All I will say about Yuzu's posture and lines is that a large majority of his photos from any performance makes me want to sit down and do gesture drawings It's beautiful. A piece of art, haha. (and sure, when he was younger he was more flaily and didn't have as good stamina. But that was years ago. And the wildness back then is still charming to me hahaha.)

"When he skates It's very soft and everything is complete and it's completely magic and it's just fantastic." "I like his jumps very much, he jumps very good, high, It's fantastic that he can jump so many rotations in the air" I don't know if it's just me, but I was glad to see them describe him with 2-Olypics Gold and 5 Worlds medals. I feel like a lot of his Words achievements get overlooked simply because they weren't gold (thus failure?), when most people would dream of a placement.. ^^;
