I was only starting to follow Yuzu's competitions live at the time, so it was nothing compared to Helsinki. Now I am a fully invested fan and I go from and and to and and finally , all in a minute or two

So many things happening! I wish Yuzu would land his 4A first. He deserves this. However, I don't want to see him injured again. He doesn't cope well with not being able to skate.

SO, now that Skate Canada is over, there is my prediction for Helsinki: Yuzu will show up to the first practice, do some mild crossovers, jump 4A (LGC style) and leave the ice, leaving all the satellites braindead.

OMG! I knew that as soon as the countdown starts, things are going to happen! As I went to work, I was about to cross a street. A car stopped to let me cross. I swear the engine sounded exactly like the Origin beginning! And so are starting my pre-competition dreams and hallucinations.

My thought exactly! I loved the suit! They are the perfect duo. I love all their interactions, whenever they show up together. This one is my favorite.

About artistry, I think it is something, that can't be compared in this way. Everyone is different and has different feelings about it. Therefore, it is hard to judge artistry, yet the judges have to do it. It's something, that will be discussed again and again. I don't think there is currently anyone who could be compared to Yuzuru, though. You can't really measure artistry or compare different styles, but there are some levels, or degrees of artistry, that are too obvious. And it is obvious, that Yuzuru, whatever style he has, is at the level way beyond any skater I know (at least from the younger generation). I think, I am not biased at this one. He can have a style that doesn't suit everyone, but he does that style well.

And I am so looking forward to the newly developed Helsinki version...

The Origin, I think, was a bit off from the beginning. Some "Yuzuness" was missing. However, after that fall and the popped jump he just became really frustrated and it looked like he was trying to make it through the program and not to start yelling at his jumps and spins to behave. So yeah, maybe it was the music, but I think, if he had been at his best, he could've dealt with it.

I don't understand a thing. But It's okay. At least I'm motivated to learn Japanese harder. Edit: Yuzu shoud actually receive some award for bringing foreigners closer to Japanese culture and make them learn the language.

Look for example at R&J 1.0 At 2:19 he jumps 3Lz 2T combo (I hope the commentators said it right, because I am not sure, if I could tell the jumps apart) and it was gorgeous. Edit: I watched it in slowmo and I don't know. Maybe it wasn't a lutz. Could someone tell? Edit of edit: I am really sorry, I don't recognize the jumps at all. But I tried to compare to PC lutz and it looks the same, so I will conclude it was lutz after all. The camera angle is not very clear.
