As a person who lives in a country in which a demonstration was held several months ago as a sign of sympathy toward a footballer from another country who was injured and leave the match and resulted in the loss of his team (I know this is convoluted but sadly this was really happened) I can understand.

Made a quick search and guess that such methods might took a long time and he might need to skip one season or more. My guess is that he will want to postpone such methods unless they became an absolute necessity.

The three weeks rest is said before he done his FS right? Probably need longer now. I hope he takes enough rest and therapy and return whenever he is healthy. I hope there won't be any complication like last year and will pray for his health, but I'd rather seen GPF and Japan Nats cancelled than seeing him forcing himself to participate in those events (unrealistic, I know, but it is my emo side typing so...) I'm dreaming of happy Zu rejoined the season during 4CC as warm up before Worlds 2019 and won both events. Now excuse me I need to cry again. (Damn you Yuzu, you've made me into a cry baby)

When the topics on this thread are getting crazy, there's usually an explanation: The kittyspace is about to make appearance soon and people are getting edgy and anxious and impatient to see him. It is hard to be calm and discuss happy things when you feel like you're about to explode.

I sometimes go to T*L to read the comments. Couldn't bother to listen to what they said because it is usually quite shallow. Heck, I got less useful information from their lengthy talking compared to Kurt's before and after program commentary. Anyway, I like Shoma's SP and his Great Spirit EX. But for the love of God I couldn't see what others seem to rave about the complexity of his FP. Despite the music changes it all seems so empty and monotone-ish for me. Have been curious about one thing though. Shoma botched his jumps on second part of his FP this season. On triples no less, giving a real idea somehow that the 30 secs reduction is hard for skaters. But, all this time I thought Yuzu's the one with less stamina because of his asthma. Yet, he's managed to stand on his feet! Has his stamina really improved that much under Brian, or is it all from will's strength?

Nathan's layout could not possibly be his last one though as it only has 3 quads. And I remember reading from xmonster that Yuzu and Shoma has the same BV.
-
When you know he can reach 110 for SP and 220 for FP, this current world record is just like a walk in the park. I am curious how many WRs will be broken during the next month.

I think Otonal is easier to grasp because its nuances has similar vibe with Chopin while Origin is a totally different case. No worries, once he master it he will be able to project it better. With Yuzu, I always feel that he took longer time to conquer his free program, but when he does the result is so mesmerizing that those programs leave deeper impression. Top three of my favourite program of his are his free.

It is a Plushenko's tribute coz he is using the same music. That is all. The story-telling behind the program is all Yuzu's.

TAT also say thank after the SP. Dunno bout FP because I watched the non commentary one.

He is just being human and he must be disappointed not being able to give a better performance in front of home crowd. As for how it can be published in the news it is the fault of the reporter for not doing a crosscheck for Valtter's statement. Not that shocking though, it happened in medias everywhere nowadays.

I think these two tweets can be a more interesting discussion: This is so Yuzu! I actually side-eyed Nate a bit when he only has 3 quads on his LP in SA, but then his program elements are not intricately joined so he can add more quads later. The other one:

(I haven't opened the link yet) I think Yuzu is fully capable to give clarification to Plushy that Origin is not about Nijinsky and share some insights on his idea about the program. No need to worry.

I don't need to wonder. The number of likes and retweet in Olympics Channel have answered it. LOL. I really love the changes on the costume. Compared with FaoI version, the frill on his arms are looser and more flowy and I think the wrist part also flare a bit(?).

I am so thankful that we are currently in the internet age and can access news and videos easily. I would end up as a very dry cactus if the situation is different since there is zero coverage about figure skating in my country (To be fair there is only 3 ice rinks here in Jakarta). It is also a great fun to listen to different commentators. CBC one is my current fave for his FS during Helsinki, as Kurt and Carol were hilarious there.

Your mother seemed to know you very well. My condolence for your loss, and I am happy that going to Helsinki can give you some consolation. I have always been a private person myself, but I am thinking to share it with my mother as well when she visit during Christmas time. I've shared bits to my brother as well.

That one is quite true in my case. Manga though, not anime. Up to this day I cannot stand to watch YOI, though.
-
But his PCS is mostly okay--he still has the highest PCS when he went clean. He is held back sometimes with his GOE, but I think it is largely happened because he kinda broke the scoring system after he get 330 during GPF 2016.

Apparently there are some opinions that the kitty space has hijacked the throne for too long.
-
Alina needs that bonus points to stay ahead of her competitors. Yuzu's competitors need that additional points to give the illusion that there are competition in men's field. My 2 cents, ofc.

Every now and then I will replied some messages on YT to questions some of the arguments. Mostly not trying to convince them otherwise though, that's just a waste of time. K-POP fans in my country got bad reps too--although I just know about it from my friends since I don't really watch many k-dramas or listening to k-songs.
-
But he does not really say it out loud, doesn't he? It is said in a (supposedly) private conversation between friends.
-
Ha! I'll see what y'all say next week. Enjoy all that zen while it last.

We're one week short before Helsinki and I've been thinking whether I will be able to focus on my work next week.
