How could they possibly own it? That's Yuzu's exclusive content and none of it was used in GIFT, as far as I know. What kind of a deal did Yuzu sign with them? Wtf!

The Spotify, Apple Music, and iTunes numbers I see reported on Twitter are all really incredibly good. I think the YT numbers are low because it's only an audio track with cover art, not an MV

To be fair, I've only noticed this with one particular fanbase. They seem to think that they're making an important point if they show up en masse with their banners right before their guy skates and leave right after. Like as if they believe that just politely sitting and watching the other skaters is a betrayal of their fave. Drives. Me. Crazy. Anyway, if there are going to be other fanbases taking up the slack in ticket-buying, I really hope Kaori gets a nice big one. She deserves it.

IMO it hasn't. What I've witnessed when at competitions where those fans show up, is that they only come to the event their fave is skating in, and time their arrival to right before he skates, and leave shortly thereafter. But fanyus often stay for the whole competition

The schadenfreude is overwhelming. My glee at their predicament aside, it seems pretty clear that they won't be getting the Russian market back for a long time, so they should be putting their efforts into attracting new viewership in heretofore untouched markets

Annoyingly, Geffen/UMG won't let me buy the digital download from them b/c I'm not in the US. Anyway, the song is wonderful and it makes me feel like the love interest in a romantic comedy, the girl whose suitor has just made it official by singing a song he wrote for her in front of everybody to show how much he loves her... I registered. Yuzu aside, I love Hokusai's prints. They have a warmth to them, as if the artist were immensely fond of all his subjects, that makes them very relatable.

I just got home from the live(-ish) viewing, and I am so thrilled for Yoongi. J-ARMY did a really, really great job! They cheered him on so much, I was so impressed. Other thoughts: I think the staging and the VCRs have been changed a bit from what I saw in NY. Seemed like some of the more shocking bits of the VCRs were gone. And Yoongi definitely has a bad cough; he was okay for a while but from Life Goes On til the end of the show, he really struggled. I felt bad for him.

J-ARMY started the show by chanting 'Min Yoongi! Min Yoongi!' And waving their ARMY bombs.... cute!

Watching Sowoozoo 2 years later, after having been to the PtD concerts, really makes it hit home just what and how much they were missing during the shutdown times. Makes me so glad I went to all the effort to record and send in my utterly terrible fan chanting for the songs they added ARMY's voice to at Sowoozoo. Even if my voice is one of thousands, it's still in there cheering the guys up.
