  1. I love the energy and texture they have. Very tactile.
  2. Sydney for 2021 4CC would be super-interesting, but would they get the ticket sales? Oz is a long way to go for basically everyone. And Tashkent! Could you imagine? Sounds so exotic.
  3. Some thoughts on ladies' quads from a quadster. Also, what it feels like, as an elite skater, to see Plushy in person for the first time: Let's all give young Roman our support by subscribing and liking. I personally love his little snippets of insight into skating life and want to hear more!
  4. He probably didn't mean it literally Now I'm reminded of that game show where one of the participants joked that Yuzu's reflection asked for his autograph...
  5. On the other hand, multiple Yuzus dancing in unison...
  6. Yes. My phone uses Autofill and it betrays me all the time. I fixed it though.
  7. Stray thought here: Yuzu and Javi doing flamenco together.
  8. Well I can sympathize with that but...
  9. ... Kolyada's ranking makes no sense to me. Didn't he have a terrible season? And I guess Yuzu did so few competitions it hurt his ranking.
  10. Yuzu 's Ice-chan, yes he does. Une grande amour!
  11. Wow! That was almost better than Javi's skating - and I love Javi's skating! How wonderful that he's bringing it to Sendai...maybe a favor to Yuzu? but marvelous all the same. Raise your hands if you want to see Flamenco Javi with your own eyes now.
  12. Perhaps. But it's not far-fetched to consider that the stress of changing coaches mid-season will have an effect, either.
  13. If Lee is going to the Granite, then it would be easy for Stephen to follow him, it's right in the same city. @Ashley2162018: If I'm not mistaken, right now there aren't any prominent Canadian skaters training outside of Canada, but it's not unheard of. Tessa and Scott were with Zoueva in Detroit for ages, and Chiddy as well (although in his case, I think it proved disastrous in the end.) There are so many good coaches and clubs here though, and training outside the country is expensive. I can't see it happening unless someone has lots of funding available.
  14. But at the same time, juggling skaters is something Brian has tons of experience with. I suppose it all depends on whether a skater is happy with that or not.
  15. I love how Seimei is 'SEIMEI-sama' and all the others are '-chan' .
  16. He was 10th in the SP at Jr. Worlds and fell on multiple jumps. And then 3rd in the FS..if you compare to JGPF, where he dominated with perfect form the whole way through, yes it's a drop. Of course no one's going to be perfect all the time, but it's hard not to notice sudden changes in performance either.
  17. I'd go with Hanyu-sensshu. It's how they call him in the Japanese newspapers.
  18. I know he was with Lee Barkell for the last half of the season. And frankly, his results dropped as soon as he left Brian, (went from winning Junior GPF to bombing at Jr World's) so I dunno if the move was such a great idea. TSL is maybe not the most reliable source ever.
  19. I would love to see his 4Lz Ice Scoped. He's got to be clearing at least 0.7 or 0.8m in height there.
  20. Agreed. I have nothing more to say. More interestingly and importantly, it seems like Yuzu's trying out a little bit of coaching.
  21. Frankly it looks like women's skating is going to have it's own quad revolution this year. I predict there's going to be quite a few more non-Russian girls trying to get them. All I have to say about that, is that there's quads and then there's actual good-quality quads like Yuzu does...would really not like to see the women's becoming a wasteland of poorly executed 4Ts...
