I'm crying again ;_;

Hi guys... I'm still feeling really down... I can't believe how long ago the SP feels from today. I watched the victory ceremony earlier today and it was really hard ;_; but I was also really glad to see him and his scrunchy smile ;_; I hope he could feel the love and support from everyone, and can rest and heal now. Regarding Yuzu's recovery, at first for a split second after seeing the JSF statement, I was like OMG NO DON'T but then I realized it makes sense they would release such a statement at this time, and I'm not taking it too seriously. I don't doubt that Yuzu is putting all his energy into recovery, but I personally think (and hope) he won't risk his ankle again as soon as GPF or even Nats given what we know right now. Anyway, I trust him to make the best decision for himself, as always.

Oh, I did not know this! I'm so happy there's a recording now! I really hope Haru yo koi will return (I think it will). It goes so nicely with Otonal and Origin as a trio of programs, and it feels like a worthy program to follow Notte Stellata and Requiem. I'm dreaming of seeing Yuzu toss ice in the air and do the low hydroblade again... * Now back to desperately trying to clear my calendar for later this week...

So I just found some yuzu honey tea which I feel appropriately combines references to Yuzu and Pooh so maybe this should be my ACI livestream drink?? I'm feeling relatively ZEN right now too... meaning, relative to the Olympics which... isn't saying a lot. But seriously, I'm very calm. For now. goldfish somewhere a while ago I saw a photo of Yuzu holding a black cat, but I don't know the source or context of the photo... anyone know anything about that?

Ah, this makes me feel better as someone struggling with Japanese speaking skills! My only interest in Yuzu's English (other than yes, it's really cute) is that it makes me feel encouraged as someone learning Japanese. I think it's inspiring to see him use his imperfect English to communicate if necessary, but I love his Japanese interviews more because he is so thoughtful and detailed in his answers and, of course, he's more comfortable that way. I don't think he should have to put a lot of effort into leveling up his English even more if he doesn't want to... I mean, he is leveling up a 4A instead...

lol yeah I'm looking into stag jumps on youtube, and they do look different, although I hope someone with more figure skating knowledge can comment! We will just have to name it after Yuzu if it doesn't have another name! ETA: oh my, and with this post it appears I have achieved First Pancake! I would never have thought a lurker such as myself would achieve this level! ^^

well said! I'm thinking of these programs not as "tributes" to other skaters, but inspired by them and by young Yuzu's dreams. I think Yuzu will always do things his own way. ^^

I love hydroblade stag leap so much it's so beautiful You guys are right, I am also feeling Yuzu's joyful wild skating just from these clips and I don't know how I will survive this season! I'm so happy for him to be skating like this for himself! *hugs tissue box*

mhmm now I am wondering if there won't be SP open practice content... I am not well-versed in past media days, so I don't know if it's ever happened that they only have content of one of the programs. Or maaaybe all the journalists needed a recovery day after Origin too
