!!!! YES!!! Oh my god, i'm literally going feral at the mere thought of Yuzu bringing Masquerade (or crystal memories, i need more of that Y spiral in my life) to a competition gala Yuzu if you can hear me screeching about this, then please deliver what the audience (me) wants. I'll make sure to sacrifice my soul to the skating gods in turn, okay?

All of y'all that are doing rankings are stronger than the marines for real! I could never (especially not if i can't separate the competition programs from the exhibitions! Why are you combining them when there's a perfectly good reason to separate them and make it easier? You heathens!) If i make a list or ranking there would be like 3-4 programs at #1, two more at #2 and then maybe i could keep to a single program for the rest lol. Rankings are not my thing... Not my thing at all

If i remember correctly then 88rising reposted Zhou's performance of Slow dancing in the dark by Joji (an artist under them) from 2019 World's on youtube + instagram. He's pretty big and it went semi viral, i even remember it popping up on my kpop twitter account where i don't follow anything about figure skating lol. The same program but performed on Stars on ice or something filmed by On ice perpsectives also got a decent amount of views. This is why it sometimes pays off to make poppy or trendy music choices when you're a skater :>

Now, now! So it's not that he can't, it's just that he refuses to tsk tsk tsk. Give us the booty shake we deserve Yuzu v-v And on a completely different note: Happy easter :>

Direct link: https://sportlandiamartina.wordpress.com/2021/04/04/quality-goe-and-pcs/ Interesting data analysis on scoring trends in GOE and PCS for individual elements (all in 100+ point short programs, so basically good quality ones) for Yuzu comparing his scores before and after his second olympic gold medal. The result is nothing we on this forum and elsewhere haven't observed in real time as competitions have come and gone, but it's disheartening to see laid out like this in graphs and data points. Either Yuzu's execution of elements has drastically declined in quality (which we all know isn't true, and no one can convince me it is), or the scoring fuckery has increased with time. It's pretty disgusting when you see it displayed so clearly like this.

Oh, so i see booty appreciation does not go against the rules? Your google search is much more sophisticated then my own, but i suppose we shall share the wealth, hmmmm (kind of hilarious that his name doesn't even have to be in the 'purple pants of sin' search and it's still only him lol) https://www.google.com/search?q=yuzuru+hanyu+ass&sxsrf=ALeKk02KkyYV0_-874GMeamw08fDzYKiYw:1617526857693&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwjGvJGOneTvAhVjkosKHfLPDRIQ_AUoAXoECAEQAw&biw=1536&bih=722&dpr=1.25 Fun fact: Yuzu's booty has an entire instagram account dedicated to it, as i found out today lol: https://www.instagram.com/yuzuspeach/ I think you've identified the problem here, though it would still be appreciated if he could throw himself into the booty wiggle with a bit more abandon (even if his ass lacks the requiered meaty-ness to actually wiggle v-v ).

I shall get on it immediatly!

That's actual slander and i won't stand for it! He's got a perfectly acceptable (some would even say exquisite *cough cough*) behind I would link photos but i think that might be against forum rules......... Just know that my booty + thigh folder runs deep lol

Speaking of GS, if there is one thing i have to give them it's the wonderful fan fests that ran on that site for many years. I love reading them as they're a great time capsule of these very specific periods in his career, it gives nice perspective as someone that wasn't a fan of his at the time. I just finished the 2011/2012 season one, and it was really great to read about his world's debut (ankle sprain aside) v-v The users discussed his placements in regards to lucky numbers, and to think that the universe had the ability to line Yuzu's career up with numbers even back then is rather funny. It's as if his whole existence was basically written in the stars upon birth! The only downside is the endless discussions about dating and pairing him off with different skaters; it's something i would gladly do without lol On another note, i'm glad Yuzu never did drop his A spin despite many people constantly harping on him about it It's also lovely to know he's been able to keep his biellmann and even improved it (the release of the leg for example) when people in that thread predicted he would completely lose it in a year or two! I wish we would get to see it more often v-v P.s. This user opened their third eye for this prediction haha: "Yuzuru for 2014 and 2018 OGM ~~ Although I would be happy if he medals in 2014 and wins big in 2018!!" Edit: The 2011/2012 thread from page one https://www.goldenskate.com/forum/threads/yuzuru-hanyu-2011-12-season.35500/

I have no booty shaking advise to give as i myself rather lack in that department, but i must say you've made my Top 10 list of favorite planet hanyu posts ever with this one! Thank you for the laugh

More "yuzu as...." This one is adorable T - T

That's some impressive growth on weibo (from 2018)! Edit: Someone shared below that it's now at 1.19 million :0 This post has been tagged by yuzuangel as [NEWS].

I was not aware that there was such a thread, but it does sound like a place for me hehe. I shall make my way there later then!

Oh god, i met these types briefly when i was at GP Helsinki in 2018. When they begun with their drivel about me not being a "real" skating fan because i was a Yuzu fan first and foremost, and a recent skating fan (since november/december 2017) on top of it i just straight up bailed. Turned right around and left them mid sentence. Call it rude but i really can't stand those types of people. A bunch of assholes and a waste to have a conversation with (and i'm not gonna stand there and take it while they insult Yuzuru in front of me). I've had to deal with these types of fans so many times online as a BTS fan (from kpop fans), but i didn't think these types existed in real life if i'm being honest (as i've attended plenty of kpop events and never met one like that). Figure skating fans proved me wrong lol. In every "fandom'" they're an unbearable bunch.

If this were to happen i honestly think it could fulfill my need for laughter for the rest of time. Just thinking about the possibility of it has me cackling The universe loves to play twisted jokes, so i say why not!

This was beautifully put, and i completely agree! It's like his new UA says; "Get even stronger!" And he has, and he will
-
"But Yuzuru Hanyu is clearly becoming a better skater. I'm absolutely sure i am." What a beautifully self-assured quote

I love the Yuzu x Pooh hug fan art so much v-v This one is my fave

If the 4A is ready enough by next season and things are more normal again, what are the chances Yuzu will go to more than one senior B/challenger to try it out?? 👀👀 I know he usually just does one, but i kind of want him to do at least two.... Maybe i'm more curious about it than i should be, but with no ice shows i'm itching to see some attempts (controversial i know, but i'm not that scared as he sounds pretty confident)..... This is all hypothetical, of course Edit: Oh, i'm an angry seaweed now. Sounds about accurate after todays competition lol

Amazing art!

What a wonderful piece of music! Thank you for sharing v-v It'll go right beside my other favorite lark piece, The lark ascending by Ralph Vaughan Williams as the piece i would do anything for Yuzu to skate to T - T
-
I would agree that a tighter air position would give him more rotation, but rotation is not the only thing you need to successfully land a jump. One can complete the rotation and still bomb the jump. I think a more holistic approach to the jump is more appropriate and would reduce risk of injury. I think Yuzu has mentioned something similar about the air position in relation to rotation on the 4A, but i can't pin point it now. It was during 2019 though.

This one is excellent The ISU rant throughout? I felt that

I gasped when i read this, not gonna lie haha. That last spin is one of my favorite parts! I think it perfectly captures the contemplative nature of the program, and it leaves me feeling rather wistful. I also love it because there is no big climax, and so it feels like a very natural place to have the program end. As the music begins to close out i'm left feeling as if the thoughts and emotions the program has awoken are continuing to dance along. I'm not sure how to explain, but the program just is, there's no big fuss; and i think the ending spin perfectly encapsulates this. It's beautiful and peaceful. Please Yuzu, don't take it out! T - T

Man, i really loved that program. I think it might become one of my favorites once he's performed it more; everything about it are the things i love about Yuzu's skating. I adored how free, relaxed and playful he looked throughout (especielly the second half). His energy level was amazing, i can't even begin to imagine what it will be like with a crowd that is actually allowed to cheer properly. Honestly, this program is everything i wish a program with uptempo modern music would be. It's excellent! I know that when everything goes right this will be a magical program. I'm glad it was this version over the Queen one, i don't think the energy would've been even a bit similar (and i think the queen song is bad lol). I grew up with Robbie Williams too (kind of still in shock that some didn't seem to know who he was, especially the non-europeans lol, when i was plagued with his music for years) and many of his songs were part of my childhood's playlist, so it felt notalgic and fun to hear Yuzu skate to this piece. I even love the trashbag pants! Man, i really missed rock Yuzu v-v
