General Yuzuru Chat
They actually came out before Yuzu. In one of the fan pictures from above of Yuzu walking with his bodyguard army, you can see Javi and his cart with that bright blue jacket in the top right corner, already close to the exit or whatever. And I'm pretty sure Javi changed, too. His clothes don't look like he spent 16 hours in them either and creases would show on that top I think...

I thought the same thing, but I don't see the bright red/orange team jacket, so probably not lol It's probably just Javi and Tracy's...

Poor Javi, he looks so awkward... And here, too:

I'm tempted to say the pants seem a bit short, too, but that could be simply because I like my pants sweeping the floor... But I'm starting to think the sleeves are intentional...

Somehow, I'm actually feeling calmer now...

I only hope someone will tell us: ok, he's left the airport, no footage, you can stop waiting now

It's got to be the damn tie... or Brian will pop up and say: Oh did I say they're arriving today? Sorry, I meant they're leaving today

I vote for that... ドS King Yuzu appropriate behavior NHK finished skiathlon coverage. Studio footage now, so they can easily go to breaking news...

General Yuzuru Chat
lol the competition on NHK finished... so maybe Yuzu was waiting so they can broadcast

General Yuzuru Chat
I also imagined Javi on standby outside a bathroom stall, holding his bags or so lol (though Javi should probably change as well...)

I don't think there is any merit to that... a transfer is very tiring

I'm flipping channels, but right now it doesn't seem very likely... unless NHK interrupt the live broadcast

Ouch... then I really hope they're staying in Seoul today... ETA: just FYI, Korean Air still has some 15 minutes

A ride? That'd probably only work with the chartered option... and I'm not sure how close that airport is to the village either. I had another idea now, though... I remember reading somewhere Kaori had used a private rink in Seoul for practice. If Yuzu will use the same tomorrow (no idea, I was just struck by the difference in wording in that tweet, between training and practice), then he might not leave Seoul today... stay at a hotel and go to the village tomorrow after his training... not have to waste energy on the car trip as well, after 14 hours of flight. But who knows?

I agree, though delays are a part of flying and I'm pretty sure he is used to them. Especially in winter. But I do hope he'll escape quickly and that he spent most of those 14 hours sleeping. At least he should be used to flights to Japan, so he might react to this kind of 'backwards' flights better than me ^_^; There is an airport in Gangneung apparently, but everyone uses the one in Seoul, so yes, car ride afterwards...

I said it was delayed some time back They left Canada with a similar delay. But it seems they might make up some time. The live data says 30 minutes... Of course, then there's customs, luggage etc.

The Korean Air flight would make sense if it was arranged and covered by the organizers. But usually it seems flights arranged by organizers are economy class (and I doubt the Olympics will be an exception, especially since there are many more athletes... though I guess it depends on how other sports work... no real idea). I doubt Yuzu would give up the likely first class ANA could probably get him on Air Canada to travel economy for 14 hours on Korean Air, IF that's the case. Javi might be more tricky, but I'm pretty sure ANA could arrange something unless Javi has 10 people in tow, because traveling on separate flights at the same time would be kind of stupid. (And Javi does have sponsors who could probably splurge a bit like this to get him a first class ticket, especially if ANA helps pave the way.) But who knows... then again, Brian apparently said all three would travel together, so I'm leaning towards same plane and not parallel ones lol *has weird mental image of two planes flying side by side and Yuzu and Javi waving at each other through the windows* Though now I had a flashback of a Javi and Brian picture on instagram on a small plane at some point or other, so maybe charter isn't unlikely either...
