My English teacher wants us to make a "project" (in quotes, because what she's requesting hardly counts as a project in my book) on a topic of our choosing, it's supposed to be somthing we're interested in. I of course chose FS. But then she said it's supposed to be just one page long (+ some pictures)!! How am I supposed to summarise the beauty of this sport in such a short text? I don't even know where to begin, I'm sure I'll end up with about 5 times the amount of inforation she wants 

But one thing is for sure: she will be getting many, many pictures of Yuzu, whether she wants them or not 

Also, the teacher made the mistake of not specifying the font size we're supposed to use, so if worse comes to worst, she'll be reading a page of 8 px sized letters 

Also no. 2, we will also apparently do a short speaking exercise about the project later. Little does my teacher know that once I get on the subject of FS, such a thing as keeping it short doesn't happen .

Just think how great it is: Yuzu keeps making your English better! (Such an irony, considering his own language problems (well, he shouldn't bother at all: linguistic certainly isn't the reason we love him for)). And you even can promote FS a bit in class! Best homework ever (I envy you). My imaginary plan for this: first paragraph about the history of figure skating, second - about the current situation in it (Olympic season, expansion of quads, same stagnation in ladies' part (with potential explosion due to juniors' 3 axels and quads, etc.) and finally - a huge paragraph about your favorite skater. When I studied in France, they called it funnel-system (in real, it's a simple mouvement from general to specific; it usually works good for projects). Sorry, it's a kind of professional deviation: I worked with students' projects too long. 

I checked the way from the metro to the arena today (because I have a tendency to get lost), didn't see a single banner. Current mood:

@WinForPooh You are too kind! I thought everybody is already fed up with my exams' nagging, so before your question I thought to keep silence until the last exam (next Monday).

My first exam was yesterday and I was extremely lucky to get all the questions I knew answers to. Maybe swans were watching after me and helped me to choose those questions (it was an oral examination. I don't know how this is organized in others countries, here it's like a lottery: small pieces of paper with questions on the reverse side; you can choose while they are turned by the white side and afterwards you can't change your mind). I got A as an average note (with one B and two A). And guess what I feel? Of course: 

(Could I do better? What exactly? I had to work more. I promise to work more in the future. Mr Perfection is my ultimate example (although I'm not strong enough to follow him all the time)). Frankly speaking, I should be more grateful to the Universe, because with other questions my notes could be much worse. It's not like I was perfectly ready for everything. Besides, it appears that I was a very weird shaking monster with a trembling voice in real. 

After the exam I slept all the evening, night and morning. Only now I feel that I'm capable to start my preparation for the next exam. Little monster is waking up again.

Sure! I can even hug you virtually (actually, this place exists exactly for the situations like this, at least partially). I hope I won't have to ask for a favor in return in two weeks. I'm a terrible crybaby.

UPD: My mother looked at me with fear yesterday, when I asked if she was ready for the competition (she is going to watch Chopin live with me). Seeing my excitement, she heaved a deep sigh and said: "The main thing, I wish him to be ready!"

Or I'll cry even earlier. I just remembered about the exams.

Me too, I liked her January stars very much and the dress was gorgeous. But the truth is that the program was a little plane. It's hard to sell. May be that's why they  invited Stéphane to work with her?

I'm afraid the first FS program I clearly remember was with this music (Piazzolla), although not this cover (more than 15 years ago).

Take me to your mooncake lovers' club, guys. My older sister, who lives in China, has just shown me one on WeChat. Should be tasty.

I think, they just don't care. It's Russian Academy of Sciences after all, not even a university (my mother is a teacher so I know that it's not easy to make a schedule but everything should has its limits). However, maybe I should be grateful that they at least didn't put the second exam on Rostelecom's dates  (my French groupmates would already organized a manifestation, but it's useless here; I start to miss Sorbonne a bit; stady-time now).

Me too, I rarely follow the recipes. In the result, the problem is exactly the same: I barely can do them again, even if I want. Besides, I always notice that my sister, while cooking, looks like Mary Poppins, and I'm like an evil witch who cooks a potion, hanging around in the kitchen and laughing.

Meanwhile, they changed the dates of the exams and stole me a week of preparation (it'll will be next week now, not in two weeks). My poor schedule... No, I'm not crying, I'm too angry. My computer on which I checked the mail is save now only because of the wallpaper with Yuzu. He has a positive impact even at a distance. But you didn't know, what you have done, poor people, now it will be a bloodbath because I will fight till the end.

It was a real thriller with the dismemberment of a corpse. My father looked at me with horror and asked what I was doing. I said it was my revenge. And the plate was filled with strawberry jam (seriously, I'm not sure I can do it again: it feels really strange: to eat something anthropomorphic).
