Planet Hanyu has just moved to a new version of our forum software. This brings a faster, more modern experience - but a few things have changed that you should know about:

Logging in now requires your email address
Usernames can no longer be used to log in please use the email address associated with your account. If you're not sure which email you registered with, reach out and we'll help you sort it out.

Status updates have been removed
The short "status update" posts some of you used are no longer available in this version. Regular posts and forum threads work as always.

Tagging has changed
The way topics are tagged and browsed has been updated. It may look a little different, but should still help you find what you're looking for.

If you run into any trouble or have questions, feel free to reply here or reach out to the mods. Thanks for your patience as we settle into the new version!

What we are missing right now is the video section. It isn't visible anywhere and the old link ( https://planethanyu.com/video/ ) doesn't work anymore.

Can we hope that the video section will be recovered later?

Also, I can't see my notifications anymore. It shows that I have 2 new notifications, but when I click the button to view all, I get this message:

Fatal error: Type of IPS\videobox\_Video::$commentClass must be ?string (as in class IPS\Content\Item) in /home/admin/public_html/applications/videobox/sources/Video/Video.php on line 15

Thanks so much for all the work!!! I'm playing around on my phone and laptop browser trying to get used to the new layout 😅.

As the others mentioned, it seems the video section is not available or, at least, I cannot find it.

About the notifications, I can see the 🔔 showing that I have 8 notifications but when I open it, it gets me to notifications settings not the notifications themselves.
