All is well & fine in my head! Link to comment

Calling him “phenomenally lucky” to be able to get 2 OGM and assigning his wins due to the mistakes of others. Imagine, calling Yuzu lucky, out of any skaters. When was the last time that luck was actually on his side? The skater hated by his federation, battling chronic asthma, with injury riddled body, under the pressure of a whole nation, is called “lucky”. Yuzu has the most supporters but has some ugliest haters too. Link to comment
Yuzurella
There is just something about Yuzu that captivates people's hearts regardless of their gender, nationality, ethnicity, age, and cultural background. I think one of the reasons is that Yuzu is so genuine, pure, and authentic. He dares to show himself fully to the world. He doesn't hold back, especially when he's on the ice. He goes his own way and does his own thing regardless of what other people say. This post has been tagged by yuzuangel as [NEWS]. Link to comment
anastazie_12
I think Yuzu international impact is also seen here on planet :-). We do not know each other, but we understand each other and are literally from whole world :-). I hope there will be soon (but only when it is safe) some show - pure beautiful skating without mess what is now on competitions. Link to comment
eren
Somehow Yuzu who didn't "skate clean" delivered the cleanest performance in figure skating this time, while some people who did skate "technically clean" according to corrupted scoring... Link to comment

I'm sure he alone could sell out big stadiums in many places outside of Japan. It would be easier for his international fans to see him then, since tickets are so difficult to get in Japan, especially when Yuzu is skating. Link to comment
kay
that would be nice! any european capital would be such a boon for me. ready to fly/drive/cycle/walk to the venue Link to comment
eren
I just saw a clip of 17-year old Yuzuru (alone) helping fix the ice after a competition. Smart and sensitive for his age. Manners maketh man. Link to comment
Sophia
I just found out that yuzu is going to skate at the gala. That makes me so unbelievably happy. I'm having a hard time right now and his skating is not only distracting me, but also helping me to get over it. I'm really looking forward to seeing him skate without any pressure and just enjoying it. He will never fail to make me feel better and he truly is an amazing artist. Also thank y'all for creating this safe space right here. Link to comment
Guest Mary_kyo
Don't you love how according to Americans, all the FS disciplines are corrupted by Russia, except MEN. Suddenly the judges know how to score correctly when it comes to men! lmao I'm tired of their BS two-faced tweets. FS is such a mess with so many retired skaters all hand in hand in this corruption. The only one who really reached for a practical solution, fully knowing it will even lowball his own scores further, was Yuzu in his thesis. It's like the only person we can trust in this whole circus, who truly cares and loves this sport, is Yuzu. The rest only care about their own selfish (national) benefits. I feel so sorry for him that the sport he dedicated his life to, is just a clownery show now and a battle field between cheaters of Russia and USA. No wonder, the only skater who won the hearts in Beijing was Yuzu. In a world of fake people and skaters, his skating is the truth, his personality is the truth too~~~~ /end of rant, sorry Link to comment

Reading the various TW posts, I understand your sentiment. I don't think Yuzu is the only one who cares, but he's likely one of the most wise people in figure skating, who is able to look at a situation from multiple angles. He's also great at analyzing first and acting after, which is a rare phenomenon in today's society. I'd say it has to do with his superior ability to focus. Most of us are "goldfish" able to focus max 6s on one thing. Link to comment

I think it's the trend for figure skating in the future. Yuzu's the one who really loves this sport and endeavors to make it better, although he'll definitely get resistance from the current system where ISU/JSF/... are profiting from. Yuzu the beacon of light - I hope there are more people like him. Link to comment

Yes, I think I heard him say in an older video that he washes his costumes himself. OK, not "heard" but "read" because he was talking in Japanese and there were subtitles. I recall this because I found it remarkable. Link to comment

We have a powerful media machine that is really very few of us. Most of us aren't that way. We don't like the media either, which is why we come to places like this. I watched Yuzu skate without American media. I love my fanyus. Please don't paint us all with that brush. Link to comment
