  1. I'm not sure I understand what happened, but I'll tell you what my experience was. I bought access to the livestream and saw "Success." I learned later that no code is sent and there is no "ticket." Ten minutes before the show started, I went to the page that said "Success," reloaded it, and saw a button saying "Enter." I clicked on it and was immediately at Saitama. As for the archive, I also purchased that. VOD literally means Video on Demand, and I think it doesn't work now because the show is not yet archived and available. Wait until the 14th, when BeyondLive said it would be available. Things should be clearer then. I'm so sorry you missed the show because of a misunderstanding! I had the same initial reaction you did, because when we used Global Code, we got a code we used to access the livestream. So I asked someone on Twitter, and they responded.
  2. Thanks, everyone! It was my pleasure to create this banner to celebrate Yuzu's 1-yr anniversary as a pro athlete! I can't wait to see what he does next.
  3. What if it was an early rendition of the costume for Haru? Why he was wearing it there, I have no idea, but I see similarities. Maybe that high collar simply didn't work out.
  4. I haven't been to an ice show, but from everything I've read, it's cold there because they have to keep the ice frozen. I always see people wearing "lap blankets" in the front seats, too, as well as heavy jackets/coats and even gloves. I think people arrive a little early just because they're excited to see Yuzu, but if you have a ticket, you should be able to walk right in when they open. I suggest calling the venue, or checking out their online site, for more information.
  5. I was joking. Hence the smiley face. I understood what you meant. A phoenix, after all, dies and rises from the ashes, newly reborn, young and strong again. One never knows the changes destruction can bring about, for good or ill. History is full of examples on both sides.
  6. Something needs to shake up the old guard, though I wouldn't wish for an all-consuming fire.
  7. The sad thing is that, even if we're pleased at this retribution for what they did to Yuzu, figure skating overall will suffer. Rinks will close, fewer people will choose competitive skating as a possible career choice. It will become harder for the next really good skater to get backing or be noticed. Yuzu may be the last great skater to be widely known and (justly) celebrated. Who do they have today? Not much. The last competitive season was unimpressive, which was reflected in anemic ticket sales. Will ISU learn from this? Who knows?
  8. Sitting through two hours of other skaters, plus Heart and Soul on repeat, for four minutes of Yuzu. I don't doubt every one of us thought it worthwhile, but yikes! Brutal it was.
  9. I didn't know this! Thanks for the information. The sand must add a slightly cushioning effect, I would guess. Clever idea!
  10. I suggest you ask an admin if it can be done. I'm fairly new myself, so I can't give you a proper answer.
  11. Last year, right after Beijing. I'll be forever grateful, too.
  12. "Neophyte Fanyu" might be better. As long as you love and support Yuzu, you're already the real thing. Welcome!
  13. It's as close to Yuzu as some of them can get. They also bring Poohs and other things, set them up by his skates, and take pictures. It's sweet.
  14. The biggest, most important erogenous zone in the human being is the brain. When Yuzu wields his, he's dangerous.
  15. He is that! Thanks! There's nothing a photographer likes to hear more than that their pictures make others feel something good. P.S. I would give anything to be able to photograph Yuzu. Nothing would make me happier.
