Yuzu is so amazing~ It was so nice when he thanked all of us watching on the livestream, in my head I was like no thank YOU for being so considerate to fans that there even was a livestream that was easy to access and available in lots of countries. During megalovania the person I was with said "Oh so he's definitely the cool one everyone wishes they are"

Sorry in advance for the long comment, I saw the statement yesterday before going to sleep.. I'm not the most dedicated fan or even one who has been around for a long time. I truly don't understand why the media was doing this to him and his family, or to anyone's family. I wondered about what they thought they'd gain from the information, and I was angry with them for behaving this way and causing him so much grief, and then I realised that I was focusing on the wrong thing. I realised I was disregarding how he and his family must feel, and I feel like this is another one of those points in time where we as fans need to cheer him on, show him our support. I've see some really beautiful, inspiring, and sad artwork over the last day that other fanyus have created. and I think those creative things come from a place of healing and soothing. The chances that he sees them is low, but I find it comforting knowing that everyone is showing up for him. (If anyone knows good places to find more, please let me know?). I'm heartbroken for his family, and I hope that he can still find a way to have a relationship.

If it wasn't for Yuzuru I'd have never watched figure skating. Sounds dramatic and cliche but where I live figure skating is not really done, and we never have international competitions. I first heard about Yuzuru because of a friend showing me the pooh rain, and I knew I HAD to see how he skated in order to have had that much support. Absolutely addicted to the sport.

The yuzu×clamp manga will be the only manga I buy this year. I'm so excited for it!
