I think Yuzu will still try to find a way to include his layback IB and hydroblade when the music calls for a real ~moment~ but they would just be counted as transitions, which....could bump his TR score up above 9.5???

Yuzuru just won the Olympics, injured, with just 4T and 4S, by 10.95 points. He doesn't need to prove anything. He doesn't need the 4F. He'll probably get his 4Lo back, maybe try 4Lz again or go for 4A. If by 2022 he has 4T, 4S, 4Lo and 4A ... like .... that's enough because skaters are out there with 6 quad free programs still 4 points shy of what Yuzuru can achieve with 3. He's a smart guy with a good team. All he needs to do is heal and do as much as he can to avoid future injuries and do whatever he wants because no one knows what Yuzuru needs better than him. tbh. they are cutting a jump pass but the repetition rule will be unchanged as far as i know. guess we'll see when the rule changes are released.

Some photographers will be freelancers on an agency or something and will get the press pass via the agency (ie. Getty) and then sell to whoever wants them, others will be hired by publications and will get press passes via the publications. I had a...uh...semi-pro-ish camera (7D mark 2. I wanted the 5D mark 3 or 4 but...money) and I top grade lens (70-200 f2.8 L IS2, some of the pros had the same lens but they also had other kit like the 300mm lens etc) and a degree in photography but can't get the press passes because its a hard industry to break into and I haven't a clue how to. I'm quite happy being an enthusiastic hobbiest lol. It's not unheard of for publications to contact fans to purchase photos. It is more comon for news sites to just use photos they found on the internet without permission though

Gonna be honest, I don't want a Yuzuru/Evgenia collab for a number of reasons... So. I hope it doesn't happen.

I think Yuzuru can leave LGC behind. Even if he didn't perform it 100% clean, I don't really feel any unfinished business with it. It might be good to see it in a gala or ice show. I'd like for him to do new programs with different kinds of music or trying other things that interest him. I'd like to see him have fun with his programs a bit in the future, which was why LGC was so great to watch, or choose things that he thinks will help him develop, the way that H&L did. I think rock SP's work amazingly well for him though and would love another one. Like T.Rex or something. I think Yuzuru could actually pull it off while others would maybe be overwhelmed by the music, YUzuru actually has the charisma and skill to be able to skate and carry the music rather than letting the music carry him But maybe something more contemporary would be cool too. I'd like to see Yuzuru have fun skating to any music he enjoys and feels some connection to. I think his strength is that he is very versitile and could do pretty much anything. It'd be fun to see him try something he maybe hadn't done before - like latin! Maybe seeing Shoma mould a tango type program to fit his own style/strengths could motivate Yuzuru to try to same.

if he had talked enthusiastically about being really invested in wanted to be a father/husband/whatever i would maybe care a bit more but happiness doesnt just come from being in relationships and he seems to more to just want his private life to be private and hasn't expressed much other than saying he'd like to get married and have kids at some point in the future. but. it just doesn't seem like something he actively seeks as a significant source of happiness and I don't really like speculation about it because its none of my business. its not a part of his life i'm invited to look into and its not something hes obligated to share. I just hope he is happy with his life no matter what that means for him.

eh my stance is that i don't care and its none of my business. i would feel nothing. i would support him exactly the same. its unfortunate he thinks some fans would take it as a betrayal and he has to keep reminding the world that he is not an idol. i hope he doesnt hold himself back from dating or whatever because of things like fan and media attention but its also possible that right now in his life hes just not interested in these things. i dont really understand why some people are so interested in the personal lives of others and think everyone is dating/hooking up at all times.

ah. Yuzu wasn't just being soft when he was bawling on Javi... Javi will leave Toronto and return to Madrid. If Javi only competes at Euros now then Olympics was their last competition together

I hope me mentioning 2022 seemed like i think he has to in order to prove anything or he has somehow not achieved enough......i just meant there's no way of knowing how long he's going to continue competing for... some mention of 2/3 years from an old interview doesn't mean much...it will depend on many things... also i just want to have as long as possible getting to watch him skate. especially if he gets fit and decides that now he's done one big childhood dream he can have a bit more fun with his skating and programs, try different tyles, develop in different ways...

I think if he goes 3 seasons with no major issues injury wise he'd be tempted to do a third Olympics...maybe even try for gold but not be totally broken-hearted if he doesn't manage a third, after all, he already got his dream of 2 Olympic golds... its impossible to say at this point. he insists he has no urge to retire, he says he wants the 4A, he wants to fully heal and take care of his health, he's mentioned 2022 albeit in a 'i dunno *shrug*' kind of way. Whatever he does, however much longer he skates for, however much time he ends up taking off to heal and however long he ends up staying when he returns.....i support him, and will follow him I just hope he heals well and the next olympic cycle is less unlucky - whether he competes for the whole cycle or not.

This. I'm gonna hide my full response because I know I'm a few pages behind lol EDIT: oh his doctor didn't say that. Well i guess accepting the possibility it might not improve and deciding to try and do everything possible to get as fit as he can be is a thing too. He's not giving up.

I've not really looked at much Korean media stuff but most refer to Yuzuru are 'King of Figure Skating' or 'Prince of Figure Skating'. Articles I've seen have been more stating facts and not showing many opinions.
