  1. Daisuke and Kana said that they would decide about their future in April, so I assume they had this in mind (btw, I guess this means that they are not going to retire just yet!) But other than that I don't know how it works
  2. for informing us! Even if it's not certain yet, it's enough to make me (foolishly) happy
  3. This post has been tagged by yuzuangel as [NEWS].
  4. I wonder if this is a mistranslation, I think it would make more sense for him to say "Figure skating is a girls'/women's sport" in this context (so either a chauvinistic or a homophobic/misogynist comment...)
  5. I've been absolutely obsessed with this performance by Camden: https://www.instagram.com/p/CcRIlbhDXzh/ I love the choreography, camerawork and the way Camden is so in tune with the song; he's always on beat. His grin after the popped toe loop is also quite endearing
  6. I hope this is going to happen!
  7. so happy, I can't wait to see him, seems like his ankle is healing pretty well too!
  8. Well, I'm not a professional either, but the handwriting seems legit. The person says that her drawings are "done by computer" (digital drawings?) so that could explain the filter-like effect (in addition, I don't think filters would "cut out" parts of the photo like some of her drawings do).
  9. Thank you so much for this information! I've been stressing about it ever since
  10. Speaking of Yuzu and music, I'd love to see him perform to an intense song where he could really let it rip. Something along the lines of Hysteria by Muse (I mean, he's already sort of performed to Muse, right?)
  11. I'm a relatively new forum member, but I think the Salt Mines have been a great place for people to vent our their frustrations. Perhaps (even) more of the "negativity" / critique on the judging system could be moved to that place? Alternatively, we could have a dedicated thread just for scoring issues. That said, I definitely agree with @Neenahthat the criticism shouldn't extend to the skaters' appearance or personality*. *It's ok to call out people on their bad behaviour of course.
  12. Glad to see so much appreciation for him!
  13. The juxtaposition to coaches like Lambiel (who praises his students to the heavens) is quite interesting. That said, knowing how independent and determined Yuzuru is, if he were unsatisfied with the team I'm sure he would have officially cut ties with them a long time ago now.
  14. I hope any damage will be material only, just days after the anniversary, this is horrible):
  15. Hello(: I assumed they did this (immediately) after the gala based on Xinyu's Weibo post (where he numbered the lifts lol), but of course it's possible he wasn't thinking about it in strictly chronological terms.
  16. From what I've understood, these photos/videos were taken after the gala, so it is a bit worrisome... But I hope he's well on his way to recovery by now.
  17. I haven't seen this one before either, 2015 Yuzuru gives off such a different vibe from 2022 Yuzuru
  18. I don't think it was a translation as such, but rather a comment on their relationship?
  19. I think (hope) we haven't even seen the final form of Rondo yet
  20. This was so touching, such an empathetic response, he seems like a great coach.
  21. The gold medal is pretty much set, but I think Yuma, Shoma, Cha, Ilia, Vincent, maybe even Kao and Daniel? all have a shot at a silver and bronze. Well, more than that, I am just happy to see people skate (of course some more than others...) I could use some distraction And I agree, I hope Yuzuru will be able to relax and do what he wants (whatever that may be)
  22. These are so pretty (but wouldn't it be like...eating Yuzuru's costumes?)
  23. I mean...With the current situation, would he even want to travel to Europe?
  24. Yeah, this is just another case of confusing "certification" with "ratification". Certification isn't even an official term
