Hey everyone lurker here! I'm currently taking the Adult LTS class and am testing out of the last basic level soon. I talked to my LTS coach about private lessons and her rate is around $40 per 30 min lesson, and thought it was pretty expensive! Now I'm kind of curious what the private lesson rates are where you skate at. I'm a broke college student but I really love to skate so I want to progress faster but at the same time the lessons are so expensive!

Thanks for the advice! I might just go with the lower stiffness then Thanks guys, I really appreciate it! It's so hard to choose something that will last long since they are so expensive and I'm just a broke college kid

Hi guys! I started skating last month and am planning on taking group classes soon. Not sure if this is the best place to ask but does anyone have any recommendation on boots for beginners? The rental costs add up and they don't give me enough support. I was looking at Riedell 133 and 229 (older version so its about the same price as the 133).. I feel like 229 might be overbooting but some adults do overboot as they wear them down faster than kids. I'm worried the 133's might only last a few months and upgrading is expensive. What did you guys use as beginners?

This isn't a suggestion but a tech issue, so I'll just post here, is anyone else getting a warning page whenever they try to click on control panel/PM link? I can't seem to access my control panel without being directed to a "deceptive site ahead" warning. :cry:

Its under Board Index, on the bottom. If you can't see it then let Hydro know. :yes: I don't see it :cry: If you try going to Board Index -> The Church (if you scroll down its above the forum issues section) -> Church Baptism should be there, if not I guess try to PM Hydro :)

If anyone can make this place mobile friendly that would amazing! (No rush though, just setting up this site within a day should already be a world record on its own) :yee: :yee:
