  1. Right now, her image is not good in Japanese FS fans, at least. Some fan discovered from an Instagram image that she had stayed in another prefecture before moving to Aomori. It seems that she was really hopping between prefectures for ice. Most of the FS fans here are middle-aged and over women with a strong sense of responsibility. They are protecting their families from viruses, comforting their frustrated children at home, and cooking their husband's meals while working from home. Yesterday, a non-FS fan, casually created a survey on Twitter about what they thought of Medvedeva's trip to Aomori, as you can imagine, almost all the people said it's unacceptable. Articles that were considered to be Med's PR were published on the internet news site, saying her beauty of dancing under the cherry blossoms, and introducing her foreign fans comments, such as, “The cherry blossom tree fits her program so well!”, “Her beauty is like a dream! “, “I'm glad to see her in good health!”..... Unlike her PR wishes, the comments were full of criticism of her actions and a voice hoping she would soon return to Russia. But all criticism is on the internet. Many people don't even know she's still in Japan, because it's not on TV news yet. I recommend that she returns home as soon as possible before this news becomes widespread.
  2. “Please note that next year some role performers may change for various reasons, ” - quote from the organizers It’s not Evgenia Medvedeva‘ s show, but Sailor Moon show.
  3. I understand that she has no education in our language or culture, so she shouldn't have come to Japan during the pandemic in the first place. Since , unfortunately , she is already in Japan, I hope her to seek advice from Japanese people and local governments from now on.
  4. Correct , so our government, including local governor, requests people about what to do and do not In every day basis. Nothing different from other countries. "Stay home" "Don't move. In our values, protecting the community takes precedence over the individual, and many follow those requests even if there is no punishment.
  5. Aomori local governor requested its people not going out for cherry blossoms viewing to prevent the virus spread , on April 11st. https://search.yahoo.co.jp/amp/s/www.toonippo.co.jp/articles/amp/338716%3Fusqp%3Dmq331AQRKAGYAdOhzvKplbXE3wGwASA%253D The Mayor of Hirosaki City, Aomori Prefecture, has asked locals not to post photos of cherry blossoms on social media, as it may encourage cherry blossom viewing. https://www.tokyo-np.co.jp/s/article/2020042601001175.html For the Japanese, cherry blossoms are a symbol of spring, something new and bright. Can you imagine how painful it was for us to stay at home to protect the community and see someone from abroad walking freely under the cherry blossoms? On her instagram, she and her fans made a fool of the Japanese who tried to convey Japanese rules. She often said that she liked Japan, so many Japanese loved her. Right now, I don't feel her respect for Japanese people at all.
  6. Medvedeva’s just posted a video in which she was dancing “ Sayuri” under the cherry blossoms. It's easy to see that there aren't many people in the park. This is because most people comply with government demands those are "stay home" and "do not move to prevent the spread of the virus." The Japanese gave up the opportunity to enjoy cherry blossoms this year, why does she do that? I don't know how it looks from abroad, but we are seriously dealing with pandemics. In some flower parks near my house, they cut all the flowers to avoid people visiting there. It was very depressing but needed for some irresponsible people. I apologize for the inconvenience, but I want people to know that her behavior, regardless of what she does intentionally, is hurting us. Hope she return to her home country soon.
  7. You are right. Kanagawa is next to Tokyo while Hachinohe is northern parts of Japan. For the information, there are only 10 beds for corona virus patients in the biggest hospital in Hachinohe and 9 of them are currently used. You can now understand why it’s governor tell people not coming there over and over, right? Even if there is a skating rink open for reservations, no one should move there right now.
  8. I rewrote the comment as it may not fit the policy of this forum. Today, someone tweeted that she/he had met Medvedeva at Hachinohe in Tohoku area. She not only flew to Japan the day before our government closed its border but also travels in Japan? Unbelievable. Though, reported case for Covid19 is quite small in Tohoku, we Japanese all understand nobody should go because their medical resources are remarkably weak. Governor in Tohoku repeatedly ask us not come there, and we Japanese respect it. We even given up to return home on coming holidays to protect people living there. Why Russian Medvedeva could move there casually for seeking rink time while Japanese skater such as Wakaba stay home? That's not a nice attitude at least. I hope Russian Skating Federation brings its skater back to home as soon as possible. She lost respect from us.
  9. Here, Covid-19 is a designated infectious disease which means no medical fee for the treatment for everyone who was diagnosed it in Japan. Because many foreigners come into Japan to seek medical attention and don’t leave, with considering a medical fee in North America is expensive as hell, some people even suspect she is the same as them. She just came in bad times.
  10. You may be surprised with how much negative comments she received on the Japanese news websites. I am upset with her decision, too. Coming to Japan in this circumstances is so irresponsible. No one believes her purpose coming to Japan is for preparing the ice show (which is scheduled in Jun!) but for seeking use of rink and earning money (TV show or something). The number of Infected people are increasing every day and our government are asking people to stay home to protect elderly or weaker people. Also, the number of people from overseas bringing virus is reported everyday. We are worried about our medical resources are running out. That is the reason why Japan decided to close the border, same as other countries. Preparing the ice show is not necessary and can’t be a reason to go overseas right now. What will happen if she or her team are already infected? If she or her team get infected in Japan?
