Sorry if this has already been asked elsewhere, but is GIFT still available to stream on Disney+, or where one might access it? I believe it isn't available anymore on the Sekkisei streams since March 1 has passed.

I have seen portions of the press conference translated here and there, but does anybody know where or maybe when a subbed version of the full conference might be available? (I know there are probably some people working really hard on it right now and that it's no easy feat) All the information I've been able to form my feelings on have been based on second-hand reports or news stories. It would be really great to be able to follow along while he's speaking, to hear things directly from him.

I haven't been keeping up with this thread today so I don't know what's already been said or discussed. But I came to a realization earlier and wrote it down this morning--just wanted to share. For the past few months, I often wondered what it would be like in the brief time period we are in now between the short and free. At first I predicted I would not be able to endure this period of waiting between the two skates. But now that it's here, I realize that it's a beautiful time in its own way: we don't yet know what will happen, which means anything could happen; whether it be the worst, in which case we are currently living in blissful oblivion--or the best, in which case there is endless, unimaginable happiness in store.

I think all of this can be easily summed up into the only reaction I have had to anything, ANYTHING to do with figure skating over the past several weeks: literally what on (heaven and) earth is happening right now Will update if this changes but it probably won't

Oh god I thought I was the only one with this controversial opinion, glad to know I'm not alone

12 more hours to go until SP, only another day after that for FP..... and yet after EVERYTHING he's gone through, after all of our breathless anticipation all year, my biggest irrational fear is........ what if he successfully jumps the 4A with flying colors and I don't even recognize it because the rotations will be too fast for me to count

Just found out about the SP music with Saint-Saens Intro to Rondo Capriccioso... amazing! As someone who has played a string instrument myself for many years, I'm a bit of a purist and will be skeptical of a piano-only arrangement but if there's ANYONE who could change my mind about it, it's Yuzu for sure Sorry if this was discussed before but was it confirmed that SP was definitely going to be a piano-only piece? Given his "violin reference" in Origin I could see him going for the original violin/orchestra version? (at least the musician in me really hopes so) Also, sorry if someone has already mentioned this (haven't been able to catch up on the pages of comments that materialized in my short absence), but of course Saint-Saens is also the composer of the famous Swan melody (Le Cygne), on which the song Notte Stellata is based

I'm sticking to my prediction of Otonal + Ten to Chi to! I think I mentioned it in a different thread a while back and got totally shut down with people stating all sorts of reasons as to why they don't think he'll choose Otonal again.... BUT A FANYU CAN DREAM, all right?

I barely know how to count in Japanese and yet "yon kaiten" has been drilled into me through all the Yuzu interviews I have watched So yeah, if I ever go to Japan again all the locals will be like "what's with this random tourist walking around who only knows how to say 'four rotations'"

Wow, had no idea my small comment would generate so much discussion I have no one to talk about this with in real life so I'm very thankful for all of you LOL While I agree he has probably made "peace" with Otonal, doesn't that also make it a stable choice for Oly season, and was that not also the case with Chopin heading into PyeongChang (but I only started following post-2018 so correct me if I'm wrong)? I just don't see LMEY as an Oly SP, and idk if he will create a new one, which is what led me to that prediction. But who knows what he'll end up deciding haha, it's a true toss-up Also agree with comments about JW, but Yuzu did say (when 2018/19 season first started) that he chose Otonal/Origin to "skate for himself" and "return to origins," he wasn't necessarily doing them in service to his role models per se, but to his younger self who looked up to them (before he went back into full-on kuyashii competitive mode). It would also be interesting to see Otonal as a full circle Olympic moment. Just some things that were running through my mind! I don't have enough technical knowledge to comment well on that side of things

Casting my prediction for Otonal + H&E (if he goes) I think this is the one time my prediction and my wants line up....

I was just thinking the same thing! Swedish meatballs vs. a Japanese broth? (I know I'm vastly overgeneralizing the foods here) Both very delicious but super different, not to mention the high dairy content of European foods, which a lot of Asians are sensitive to in terms of digestion

I missed a few of the weeks and didn't have time to catch up on them before they disappeared from Twitch As someone who has watched every available Eng-subbed video on youtube, I was also pleasantly surprised to see clips I hadn't watched before in the streams of course, I know there's so much Japanese media about him that there must be so much I haven't seen/ it's impossible to sub it all, so I really appreciated this series
