  1. He is not going to get special consideration for the timing of his vaccine - they'll vaccinate health care workers first. And there is a 3-4 week time between doses. Again, just not enough time between now and then for him to get a vaccine (and they are not approved yet anyway). If vaccines are readily available in, say, January, maybe he would be able to get to Toronto to train for a couple of months before World's. I just can't see him taking a chance with his health any sooner and also do not believe he's going to want to put himself out there to compete until he's had some real time with his real coaches.
  2. He will withdraw. I'd put money on that. He hasn't had any direct coaching since March; we don't even know if he has a new FS; and, most importantly, the risks to his health are not going to be less in a month. Cases are going up everywhere. I think that the best we can hope for is a white wall appearance explaining his regret and his decision.
  3. One of the most magnificent thing about Yuzu in competition is that he does make it look effortless. HIs transitions and his flow in and out of truly difficult components are rarely quantified in his GOE's. Which is really sad. Nathan may look like he's working harder but that isn't actually a good thing.
  4. Amazon will figure out a way to get this to all of us outside Japan - we're just too good consumers of Yuzu merch.
  5. He is the light.
  6. But we know (?) it was Jeff who did the choreo for his new SP, which is suppose to be wildly different and really great. I have read zippo about his long program.
  7. He talks, briefly, about Yuzu and Javi starting at the 11 minute mark....
  8. He IS textbook. There is absolutely no reason other than country-bias or "hate him because he's been champion for so long" to explain why he hasn't received +5.0. It's disgraceful.
  9. His 3A is the perfect 3A - all others should be compared to his as the standard. And no one else comes close.
  10. And he's the only athlete on the list....
  11. Trying to embed, too - I posted this a couple of days ago, on the anniversary of the Gala. I have no idea if it will.... (and I'll delete this whole thing if it doesn't.) https://www.instagram.com/p/CG2_Pq0JxxV/
  12. Well, now I'm crying.
  13. My settings are fine - so it must be a need to re-load the page altogether. It just seemed weird and I'm glad I'm not the only one...
  14. I'll try that - I thought it might have something to do with the re-vamped site, but it could easily be my computer.... Thanks
  15. Am I the only one who is not receiving daily posting on this forum? I'll go days with nothing and then get 25 or 50 messages, some dating back a week. Frustrating....
  16. Boo on the lost files. They might be in the cloud??? I back up my phone files to my computer and everything gets copied to an external back up hard drive. (I don't do that often enough, and there's usually an issue with "space" on my computer.) I have lots of photos and videos from both ACI and SCI, but only the ones I took. And I have had zero luck trying to post anything on here (though I can to Facebook and Instagram).
  17. He can't do it. I agree with the assessment of his 3A consistency and, truly, if he wants to work on something, he should spend some time on his spins.
  18. You're mind isn't any more pervy than the rest of us - you just say what we're thinking out loud,
  19. Thanks for the info, Anni!
  20. I read a press release from JSF stating that Nationals may have 1/2 an audience, though that can obviously change at any time depending on how the virus is doing - but! Does anyone know how I'd even get a ticket for that (when they go on sale)? Is it a lottery thing? Probable that Japan won't let me travel into the country, even two months from now, but I'm grasping at anything. I presume Yuzu will be skating, but I also haven't a clue if he would.
  21. He hasn't even been to Niagara Falls. Up until this summer, he's always had his studies to go back to, at his apartment. A studious and private guy, I also think he wouldn't want the commotion that would come with his appearance anywhere that tourists go to. Considering the amount of global travel he's done, I would guess he's seen less of what the world has to offer (museums, natural wonders, historical locations, etc.) than a casual traveler. Kind of sad, really. But I understand his reticence.
  22. She said the same to me. I think her response is different in response to the phrasing of the question. There's all kinds of ways to ask about him, but it's that initial response to the "favorite skater" that seems unpredictable.
  23. I did correct her. But she's still getting it wrong. She found Yuzu on the web and actually said he's "one of the best" and that "his warm-up routine may not be for everybody." What? I LOVE his warm-ups. I rephrased my question to "current" skater, male skater, favorite, best - I need a new Alexa.
  24. I asked in English and live in the US. I am baffled by the responses. Maybe if I asked in another language...
