Amazing how time flies (even if it's a month) I know 2018 is far from over but Yuzuru winning with his beautiful performances and display of courage is definitely a highlight ! I can't express with words how special that moment was, watching it live through my tv was everything, I jumped and shouted like a mad person after he started crying in the kiss & cry.

I think is harder to convert someone into a fan of any male skater since skating is seen more as a ladies sports, like how female gymnastics is more popular than its male category. I used to think like that and only watch videos casually of Sasha Cohen, Michelle Kwan etc but they never got my attention. I was not really even excited about male skating at sochi and was only in for the ladies primarly, that is obviously until I saw Yuzu. I can say I turned my sister into a fan since I have not stop talking about him for the past four years so she knows his story and programs (her faves are seimei and poto), she even watched some events with me in the past. She thinks that while every skater works hard Yuzuru just seems to really work harder and he has a passion for skating that shows every time he steps on the ice. My parents also know him and respect him but they both prefer to watch the ladies. Some of my friends know I like him but they are not interested in the sport lol.

Nothing concrete but probably end of april/may I think.

quick comment on Yuzuru using seimei as his free for olympics. Best decission ever!!!!!. My sister and my father both commented how the fact that he used music from his country and part of his culture was an amazing choice. My father said after his two cuadruples how different he was from the rest because of his aura and confidence, the way he totally owns the ice, he noticed this right away. My sister is totally in love with the program, she says she loves the hydroblading and how free he looked after doing all the jumps, she has already watched a few times and keeps watching it almost a month after. Even if they don't know much about skating they could still see how special the program and performance was, and the special way Yuzuru carries himself on the ice, like a total emperor!.

Totally!!, I just remembered his control of the audience at the end of the gala of the WTT last year. Amazing !
