Every time I watch this video, it makes me want to do the exact same thing, because it looks like skating that way would feel really good - all glidey and flowy and fun. And since it's just edge exercises, it raises my hopes because in theory it's the only part of his skating I could possibly learn to do...

But in order for Dai to go to World's, he'd have to meet the minimum qualifying TES, which he doesn't have right now. Which would mean he,'d have to go to 4CC with a revamped program to get it.

I was doing the same! Javi's skating is beautiful, don't get me wrong. But I was looking for the two of them together.

Whoever filmed that only focussed on Javi so you can't see the two of them working together.

My favorite takeaway from this interview - Yuzu literally goes and skates in Brian's footsteps sometimes ( the figure 8 thing). That boy just kills me, every time.

I recall reading an interview of his where he mentioned that right before he competes, the adrenaline and nerves affect his stomach and cause him digestive troubles, so he's probably learned over time to eat lightly and simply for competition days.

I think these are his competition meals...the dates above each menu correspond to Helsinki and Cup of Russia.

He's the exception to the rule of gravity.

There's gold ones...but it was way too much like one of Plushy's worst costumes ever, I couldn't bring myself to post it.

But what about this, Yuzu? It needs some tailoring in order to fit appropriately close to The Abs and The Waist, but Yu could totally make it work...

The sparkles aren't aerodynamic anyway... I think he'd have to settle for some metallic screen-printing applied to the surface. Also, going back to the Kimono award... between Yuzu and the actress, Yuzu definitely wore it better.
