  1. I am looking for the Eng Sub video in which he visited a place that was impacted by the earthquake and he met a man on the street who told him that his wife and house got washed away, and Yuzu was really sad and almost cried afterwards after the man left. I remember seeing it before but now I can’t find this video. anyone know which one I am talking about? thanks!!
  2. I like the ruffles on the sleeves but I don’t like the holes in between the ruffles and the arms, it would be better if there is no gaps so that the entire length of the ruffles is attached to the sleeves. But I don’t know maybe the holes are needed for his movements?
  3. I bought the Friday ticket! I think I will be able to manage taking one day off work. Saturday is sold out (should I recheck from time to time?) Would there be more tickets later when the general public sale is released? So excited! It will be my first live competition! (I fell hard for Yuzu at Pyeong Chang). Are there any places where I can find “fanyu tips for going to ACI”? I am so lucky that it is only a 45 minutes drive for me; no excuse for giving it a pass.
  4. I also like LGC very much and Yuzu totally rocks in this program. The program is just so fast and therefore it is very difficult to control. I was just looking up LGC videos on youtube to rewatch it again and I found this “perfect cut” version (combination of the clean portions from different competitions), enjoy! https://youtu.be/aa_sopVujPM
  5. Hehe I was joking when I said I should hang out at Loblaws I think it is probably too early to work on choreo since the new rules have not come out yet? The fact that he is back in Toronto so soon gives me a lot of hope that he will stay in competitive skating for a few years (please let him heal his ankle without any problems). It warms my heart knowing that he has now seen the new plaque at TCC bearing his name
  6. I am also new! I live in Toronto and so I feel so happy that Yuzu is here! I need to hang out at the Loblaws (supermarket) next to TCC more! Perhaps he was planning to stay in Japan but after watching the Worlds men’s free skate, he felt an urgency to get well as soon as possible to save figure skating. So he called Brian and told him “Brian, I am taking the first available flight to Toronto” and that was why Brian said that he will see Yuzu on Monday LOL
  7. I totally agree! I have watched his Olympics FS (and SP) so many times already and they never get old! All his movements (hands, arms, head, turns, timing of spins, steps, jumps) all match the music to a T. Even more so compared to the old versions. I don't know but they just feel much more emotional, maybe because of the occasion and the recent injury struggles he has been through. Compared to the old versions there is an added maturity to it. I wonder if the FS had no mistakes whether it would have broken the world record again. I also love Hope and Legacy, but Seimei seems to be a program that is more dramatic and therefore judges (who may not be as emotionally connected to H+L as Yuzu's fans are) may score it higher. The FS was what, like 17 points from the world record? Maybe he still would have needed the more difficult quads to match the score of worlds 2017 then? The Olympics exhibition program as well, it is the best version ever!
  8. Yeah that was what I was thinking too LOL. I also thought TTC keeps it quite private but when I saw that there is some sort of restaurant area beside the ice rink in the videos, I wanted to ask just in case it is possible /usual to be able to watch I did feel hesitant that it may invade Yuzu’s privacy a bit. Thanks everybody for your warm welcomes! And thanks to those who post and translate stuff. Many pages back someone said that they think Yuzu’s popularity will become much bigger and more international and I couldn’t agree more; I am a good example of that! I really hope Yuzu stays around for a few more seasons because I have missed so much.
  9. Hi everyone, I am a newbie here (I just registered!) I fell hard for Yuzu after seeing his SP in Pyeong Chang, and so I was really rooting for him during the FP. Ever since then I discovered Planet Hanyu and so I have been catching up on this thread and watching many youtube videos (his skating and interviews) till the middle of the night! His skating just touches my heart and to add to that he is so humble, polite, gentle, hardworking and smart, and cute! The complete package. I didn't really follow figure skating before, so it's been fun reading about this sport (all the jumps, BVs, scoring, GOE, PCS, the different skaters and their relationships). I want to ask a few questions if it is okay - I actually live in Toronto and so I am wondering if it would be okay to go to TCC and watch Yuzu practice? I am not a member there though. TCC is about 20 minutes drive from where I live. I tried google and there is usually an "open practice" in August when he reveals the new programs for the season? Are there any ice shows / competitions in Canada coming up? I think there is a thread in here showing the schedule but I can't find it anymore. I think there is the GPF in Vancouver in December, anything else? Thanks a lot!
