I wonder how much of the besti was for his knee, though. Might not have been specifically prep for his jumps. Might have been because he hadn't been training and his knee was painful, so conditioning it a little on the ice.

I hate the not sleeping well thing. I thought everybody got up multiple times at night for the longest time. Realising that there are people who sleep through the night was mindblowing for me. So was realising that I walk in my sleep. As if waking up and walking around wasn't enough!

I get the amusement, too. Turned into bemusement of... 'You're really serious about this, you're staying up for football and... figure skating!' after ACI. And a few curious queries of when I plan to sleep, too, if I intend to work and keep dogs and plants alive, too.... I ask myself the same question to be honest.

So has anybody asked you what in bloody hell the Rostelecom Cup is, and has anybody gone to check if they did in fact rename the League Cup 'Rostelecom' mid-season?

Really, if one of the current uncles retired, skated in shows for a while, and came back into a competition, even a fluff one, I bet they'd get better PCS than that. And by current uncles yes, I'm not at all lowkey indicating a specific uncle. HMPH!!! If that amount of salt got dumped on your pasta, you'll be needing hydration therapy of some sort. I don't think watching the hydroblading will count.

Could somebody direct me to where I may go to pour all of the salt in the world out over Nobu's PCS, because if they want to talk about correlating artistry and PCS, and then they do that, then they're a bunch of the numptiest numpties I've ever seen and I'm including the FA, FIFA and Premier League referees as well as my own country's politicians in that....

Grandmas have lived long enough to know just what's the most comfortable thing ever and wear it all the time. I'm ahead of the curve. I caught on early. ETA What happened to @SparkleSalad's quote? Aaahhh It's quoteception. Right.

I get that, I guess, but ignoring the present until it's gone and becomes the good ol' days so you can talk about it is... silly. I'm still looking for an actual critique of his skating skills, not to see if anybody can score points, but so I can understand his skating better. If anybody can link me to something, I would appreciate it, too. Like that comparison gif between him and Chan - I find it easier to spot the different turns and steps when Chan does it because he does it more deliberately and Yuzu just lightning-zips through it all, and I found that analysis helpful. And really, most of the fangirling is a big distraction from the very real stress of worrying. And a welcome distraction from real life, too. What harm does it do? Fangirling a little doesn't automatically disqualify you from being a serious when you need to be. Really, a disclaimer should not be necessary to be able to say you think Yuzu is really good at skating. (Though I see how the cult of the personality can be annoying to the highminded. Thankfully, my mind has always been in the gutter so I don't think that's a problem.)
