  1. I wonder where they got the "drunk out of his mind" thing... all I get is that his speech was slurred by the time his father joined, which doesn't fit the image I get in my head for "drunk out of his mind"... or maybe my dictionary is more conservative lol I think his allergy was triggered by his surgery, when they had to use a lot of rubbing alcohol. It could be he wasn't allergic before, so that would give him a couple of weeks to experiment drinking first. Surgery was end of December and he was in Japan after GPF, so early December. Although what concerns me is that he had his urachal remnant issue by then already, IIRC, he said it burst right after he got home, so technically, he should have been on antibiotics and such and not drinking alcohol? A possibility is this all happened after the coming of age ceremony, which would be in January and so there would be no timing issue...
  2. This vaguely reminds me that a month or two ago, there were two car commercials on TV. One had Sing Sing Sing as the music, the other had Smile. And just yesterday I saw a commercial at the movies, with The Impossible Dream. Yuzu and Javi music everywhere... But yes, yuzu flavored stuff and Poohs remind me of Yuzu. There's a tiny Pooh for sale at a newspaper stand I pass by every morning lol I can at least say I was obsessed with sakura stuff long before HYK, though. Oh and speaking of Yuzu flavored stuff, I don't know if it's known here, but at Ice Rink Sendai, if you buy goods over a certain amount (forgot how much... 5000 yen, maybe?), they give you a badge and a bag of Irene candy, which is typical Japanese candy, round and with a skate in the middle, and the flavor is yuzu & honey lol. Picture of the bag, badge, the two music boxes I got there (and the Sendai Coca Cola bottle, just because I got them all the same day ^_^; ) under spoiler, because it's big:
  3. I think in recent years Yuzu has learned that popping is better than falling while trying to force a landing. Even if the immediate consequences can be disastrous, it's better long term, because of the lower chance of injury. (Of course, there are exceptions, but some of those did have disastrous consequences... imagine if he'd popped NHK 4Lz instead of trying to force the landing. Or the 4Lo at Rostelecom) So, for his health, I hope he will always choose popping over falling. (Though that's probably too much to hope for... He'll try to Javi-save some of them, for sure). I agree that on a 4A they'd probably be nearly impossible... but that'd mean we'd only ever see pop, fall or perfect 4As and that's a bit hard to believe... So, his knees will probably get a battering from some Javi-save attempts and there'll be some double-footing maybe? Overturning? We'll see I guess... (But I do hope they do some special 'how to pop quads to triples 101' training...) For the SP, I could be too optimistic, but I don't think he'll need 4A, 4Lz or 4F... Even last season, with just 4S and 4T, when clean, he was head and shoulders above the 4Lzs and 4Fs. Of course, it will likely get worse this season, which is why 4Lo makes sense instead of 4S. I'm not sure 4Lz wouldn't be more of a risk than it's worth, but it depends on how well he will have mastered it by autumn. If he's really confident with it, then 4Lz would be better. The SP is more about going for the stuff you know you can do, to score as many points as you can, as @LadyLou said, so it will depend on the status of 4Lz by the end of Summer, I guess. 4F is probably not worth it, either, because a mistake or an edge call would be an issue. And leave the experiments to the free... Though of course, that's only if he truly chooses to come out all guns blazing. He might still ease himself into it and add the quads gradually and pick and choose the ones he's most comfortable with, rather than doing them all at once... But given 4Lz and 4F at FaOI, all guns blazing doesn't sound as unlikely as we all thought when he first mentioned wanting them all after Worlds... ETA: I actually find it pretty funny that Yuzu is promoting traveling to an island well-known for beaches and swimming and such when he doesn't like beaches and can't swim lol That's like Sekkisei to the next level lol But I'm happy they're having him for July (as weird as it is; I guess having a winter athlete on a winter month was too cliche lol) because my birthday is in July lol
  4. I agree, I would also be surprised if he did 4A in the SP. I think the only way it would make sense would be if he had practiced emergency popping to 3A, so he can improvise if it goes wrong without requiring extra effort (as in he can add a quad and a combo and still be ok). Even popping to 2A would be ok-ish, but... yeah. If he seriously plans on doing all the quads (whether this season or next season or whenever), I believe he will split them up. Do one big/new quad in the SP - MAYBE - and do the rest in the free. Remember his ideal Origin layout started with 4A 4Lz. Maybe keep 4Lo for the short, as he has some practice with it so it's safer. Then go crazy and do 4A, 4Lz and 4F in the free, probably as the first three jumps... After all, Yuzu is no stranger to recovering and regrouping from mistakes early in the program. And the earlier they happen, the easier it is for him to find solutions and improvise. We've all agreed by now that the gong in Origin was for 4A. And it also explains why the beginning of the program is fairly empty by his standards. My biggest wonder is whether he'll try to find another program that can accommodate his crazy ideas or stick to Origin. The problem with Origin is that it's actually really demanding and overall busy and stamina wise, it'd be really hard to do all those quads and still manage the rest of the program. Even at Worlds, where it was wonderful, he was pretty slow and that's possibly where he lost some PCS. And that was with just the usual quads. So actually a slightly more mellow program might work better... but then again mellow and a ton of quads doesn't seem like it'd go well. (I now think maybe H&L worked so well because it was a fairly calm program, so it wasn't as hard to maintain the stamina needed for 4 perfect quads and 2 3As.) I'm sure he'll find a great solution and blow our minds away, though lol I also feel quite sure he will get all six quads in competition... his ambition is stronger than just about anything, so if he sets his mind to it, he probably will, someway, somehow...
  5. Chances of Yuzu going to Shanghai Trophy are very small, I think. But it's nice he and Alina were invited. ACI is still the best bet for him for pre-GP season competition, and it means he can just stay in Canada until November when he's going to Japan for NHK Trophy. That's definitely best for him from so many points of view. It'll be enough traveling after NHK (if he goes back to Canada, even more so), with GPF in Italy. So throwing in a trip to China in there makes no sense, even if it's before SC.
  6. I think I downloaded everything that was in that twitter thread yesterday (although I already had 90% of them). I do find the removal of things a bit weird, though... I understand ending the series, as he focuses on other stuff and it wasn't like he said brand new stuff in there, but removing everything does feel a bit like the end of a contract... I guess we'll see...
  7. You forgot 4S and standstill (because for a 3A, that counts as an entry, IMO) lol
  8. That sounds like he'll be doing it again for a while! The Beauty Blogger is back! We'll hear more about games and kittens! lol
  9. Elena is tiny but so awesome. Some of the stunts she does with her partner are crazy awesome. Btw, her partner is Nodari, the guy who lifted Yuzu twice at FaOI this year lol. For some reason, I really love Elena, she always seems happy and lots of fun and has a super adorable puppy she always posts pictures and videos of on instagram lol I was amused by that picture with Yuzu, because she's giving him absolutely no option for manner handsing (although he's probably still not touching her as much as possible lol), but I like that she feels that comfortable with him. Honestly, I sometimes feel there's a bit of an invisible barrier between Yuzu and his peers, like he's this untouchable creature by now. Even when they do touch him, many seem more in awe or super careful or so, so I really like it when I see people who are just normally friendly with him. Like he's just another guy they've known for years. Of course, many of the older, retired skaters do it, too and that's one reason why I'm happy when Yuzu does FaOI. Even with all the stuff he can no longer do, he can still hang out a bit with people who have known him since he was 14 and not a megastar and still treat him normally.
  10. I don't use make-up either, except on special occasions and even then it's just eyeliner, eyeshadow, maybe mascara and lipstick/lipgloss. Never used foundation or powder or so. (However I did use my brand new Sekkisei facial soap last night And will probably use the UV gel - didn't have time this morning.) I also let my hair dry naturally, in the Summer (I prefer it as it maintains the natural waves in my hair, whereas blow-drying generally straightens it), but even then it does take forever to dry... while in Japan I actually went out with my hair still wet a few times, because it was warm enough. In the winter, though, I have to use the dryer, at least to get the worst of the wetness, otherwise I'd freeze. I'm not surprised by Yuzu, though. When my hair was short, I also did the bare minimum as well, just so it wouldn't stick all over the place. From that point of view, I miss short hair lol Long hair is so much harder to maintain... Ah, I really shouldn't have thought of this now that it's Summer... the lure of chopping off all my hair is so strong now lol And I love that hair spray video (though I always hated the result lol) and can never find it when I look for it lol
  11. On NTV's morning show, Sukkiri they will have a report on the Sekkisei event and an interview he gave them after the event (so it was recorded on Saturday)
  12. Honestly, even without 4A and just the other 5, if he gets them to his standards he'll be hard to beat. Remember, they barely managed to beat him with clean programs while he had wonky 4Lo, very wonky 4S and just clean 4Ts, plus an invalidated jump in the SP and still a bad ankle. With 5 high quality quads, they can start praying. But yes, if he gets 4A, he'll be unbeatable. And I'd say he knows it, which is why he's going for it.
  13. Actually, I think during CiONTU, Yuzu said he learns all his jumps with SE entry, because that's how Tsuzuki-sensei did it. So it could be SE first... As for Toshi... I'm so happy this collaboration happened. I didn't expect them to connect so well, but I'm so happy they did. I do hope they'll get Toshi in FaOI again, he was a perfect match and brought a little extra something that I think only a rock star can get, but which actually completed Yuzu's extra-ness, as it covered the times Yuzu was asleep, too. But to know Toshi''s history and have him say that collaborating with Yuzu was probably the happiest thing that ever happened to him is incredible... (Also, for a 24 year old to evoke so much emotion in a 53 year old who has lived through so much, is also quite something and says a ton about Yuzu as a person and a skater)
  14. IIRC, Satoko has an up-down-up-down spin in her new Ex and Stephane one in his fun program, but I don't remember if it was on one leg like this, or if it was more of a full-body thing, I just remember noticing both for how cool they were and how fitting the music. But this one does look cool and I have to think that if he'd taken another picture with Plush like two years ago, his legs would look even scarier lol
  15. I wouldn't say it's really confirmation he's landed it. But then I don't think he'll say he's landed it until he lands it in competition, because he knows how important a statement it is. He didn't say he lands it 20% of the time, just that it's not even at 20% of the level he aspires to (which as we know is super high). That said, I'm personally sure he has landed it, just not regularly. Even when he was first training 4T he would land one in 50. Surely with how long he's had it in mind and given that is training it seriously, and has been aiming to put it in competition (if he'd been able to continue training it) for some time now, he has landed it at least a few times. Or else he wouldn't speak of it with so much confidence. He knows he can land it - because he has done it - but he needs to find the way to land it a lot, then most of the time, then with increasing consistency. But I'm pretty sure he'll either deny or avoid confirming that he's landed it until he does it in competition. I won't be surprised if he adds it to his layout and goes into a competition and when media asks him about it, he'll say he hasn't landed it yet. It's not a lutz or a flip, it's Nessie. I don't think he'll make statements until he can back them up. Once he's landed it in competition, we'll probably hear he's been landing it for years lol Oh as for the ideal comment from Going yesterday, just a nuance, but I think what he meant was that it's not himself he's fighting (the interviewer asked him, if it's a fight against himself), but rather his ideal version of himself. And that ideal version is the one he's chasing and aiming to beat. The overall idea is the same, but in a way that he's no longer fighting his previous achievements, but fighting an ideal version of himself means he's now going beyond anything he's achieved so far. It's kind of a refreshing statement, as well as encouraging, because it really doesn't sound anything like retirement is on the horizon. (That said, I could be wrong, as I am jet-lagged to hell and back I was awake for over 36 hours for my trip home, due to flight being in the evening and some delays...)
  16. Hey everyone! Thanks for the worries. I'm ok, it was really gentle here, just the building slowly swaying back in forth. (ETA, the guys in the lobby said they didn't even feel it.) By comparison to the videos from Niigata and Yamagata it was nothing. But it was still pretty scary. I didn't think I'd manage to sleep, but I was exhausted after my last trip to Sendai this year, so I fell asleep after all. As it's not yet 6am and daylight makes everything less scary, I think I'll get some more sleep! I immediately worried about Yuzu, too... must have been more intense in Tohoku. But yes, the warned areas were on the opposite side from where the Tohoku earthquake and tsunami were. It was also very on the surface and much closer to land, so not as likely to cause big tsunami. But it's great it got lifted fairly quickly!
  17. I think 2-3 weeks is a lot. We know Yuzu is the kind of scheduling and has often managed to schedule all his obligations so they don't take more than a week max. (I do wish he'd also get to spend some time at home, with family, now that his home town isn't overrun with fans anymore. Although I am planning to go ti Sendai again tomorrow, for the souvenir shopping I couldn't do earlier, due to having to move around.) I am very curious if he'll be doing 24H TV this year... he's virtually a regular, but with Mao doing it... I'm sure Yuzu and his team are perfectly ok with him doing the show with Mao there, too, but I'm not sure Mao's team would have her on a show with Yuzu. He's the bigger star now and it's not good for marketing to give the chance for comparison. (Remember we always get ratings notices and they'll definitely compare ratings for Mao screen time and Yuzu screen time.) That said, I'll probably be watching the Sekkisei thing from the airport in Vienna, during my layover... still hoping someone will record it! (Also hoping I'll be having a Sekkisei product and Yuzu clearfile in my luggage at the time lol)
  18. You know, I use English every day, though as it's mostly in writing, I do feel a bit uncomfortable speaking it and rather often end up stammering or jumbling words. And I've been learning English for longer than Yuzu has been alive In Japanese, I also feel uncomfortable speaking it with Japanese people I know, who I feel have expectations of me, but I'm quite ok speaking to strangers and even though there are embarrassing moments, I want to keep challenging myself, so I look for all opportunities to speak Japanese. Whether it's with a fellow visitor at a touristic attraction, fellow fans at ice shows, the cashier at a shop or a museum worker. And as a consequence, after a week in Japan, I was able to have a proper conversation in Japanese with my former teacher for the first time. Even though she was my teacher for 3 or 4 years. This kind of immersion is necessary and Yuzu only does it to a minimum. I get it, I really do. Whenever we have speaking exercises in Japanese class I want to run for the hills. So I get being uncomfortable. But I believe this is something where it's better to step out of your comfort zone. It will probably never happen, but one of my dreams would be a fluent Yuzu dazzling the Western media. And I think he could do it, if he really set his mind to it and really wanted it. But right now it would probably take time and effort better spent on skating. And of course, he might simply not want to do it, which is fair enough. He's a grown man who can make his own decisions. But I believe in this day and age, English skills are a minimum requirement. That said, I'm sure his every day English, with people he's comfortable with is much better than we think. The interview with Cathy after the SP Worlds was proof of that, I think. But if he doesn't push himself in press conferences and such, too, he'll never improve in that kind of environment as well. So, for the unimportant things, if he really wants his English to be better, I hope he'll continue doing a bit of English here and there.
  19. Honestly, for all his adorable and funny reactions then, I doubt he was forced to do the conference in English, then. He said he has been trying and given that he works with people who don't speak Japanese on adaily basis, it's good for him to keep trying to improve, even if he hates it. So while feeling a bit bad for him, this is one thing I think he should keep being pushed towards. Overall, it's good for him. And he's said it himself, when what he has to say is too important, he uses translators (though all translators aren't the same either, so sometimes things can get lost in translation again). I'd still rather hear his still slightly fumbling English to a bad or not completely accurate translations (especially since I'm not sure he'd realize it's inaccurate and rather think his English was wrong if it doesn't much). Luckily, that doesn't happen as much anymore, but still. That said, most of the Western world misses out on the Hanyu wisdom either way, because most of the truly great things he says aren't in competition press conferences. If some Western media did an in depth interview qith him, with a good translator, I think they would be quite shocked.
  20. I'm not really surprised he's been practicing 4Lz and 4A. I wonder if 4F, too. He did say he wants them and he's not the type to step back from that. Practicing doesn't mean he'll throw them all in at once. He still insisted he hasn't landed 4A at Worlds, so... who knows. But I guess 4Lz will definitely be back this season. And 4A is on its way. I am sad about Masquerade, but it is difficult from many POVs. Physically, emotionally and practically (Toshi's vocals are essential, but lyrics are in Japanese). Honestly, I hope the Ex and programs will be new ones (or at least new Ex and O&O again). As beautiful as it is, Crystal Memories didn't really touch me in Kobe. Though I guess I still have a chance to change my mind lol And it is amazing how he knows everything... but he really does. So I think all fans should keep that in mind at all. If he knows when fans are slighted, he also knows when they misbehave and that likely upsets him, too.
  21. It might be about the Waseda pictures. His eye does seem a bit swollen in that, but that can be for any number if reasons. Eyes are sensitive, so I think swelling around the eyes is more common and can have nothing to do with the hand issue. Or he might be going through a phase where his immune system isn't at full capacity, so he gets plagued by various small issues. Traveling, combined with I think, some big temperature changes in Japan might have contributed to that. Someone mentioned on facebook that his hand looked to be red/bruised/whatever already in the rehearsal clips, but I tried looking and it was hard for me to tell. It might be, but the angles aren't really good enough for me to say for sure.
  22. Again. I said, IF he ever needs it, her presence is more likely to help than Jason's. (Which is where the discussion started. Someone mentioned Jason's presence at TCC being good for Yuzu. I said more than Jason, I can imagine Evgenia's presence being good, in certain circumstances). IF. Key word is if. I'm not saying he'll crash and burn if there's no other skater to motivate him. I EXPLICITLY said he can motivate himself just fine. But, sometimes, a little help doesn't hurt. Even if he became completely demotivated one day, I'm sure he would pick himself up, by himself just fine. But if someone's presence - be it Evgenia, Jason, Pooh, Javi, or whoever else - would help, then maybe he'd do it a bit faster, a bit more easily. Or maybe not. But seriously, stop putting words in my mouth and accusing me of believing Yuzu is incapable of handling himself - being creative or motivated - without others around. I do not believe that and I never said that.
  23. Did I ever say otherwise? What I said - or meant to say, in case it didn't come out as such - is that she is also very intense and that intensity is something he can maybe be boosted by if he has bad days. And everyone has bad days. Whether he has bad enough days to need a boost or not, I don't know. Hopefully not. But if he ever does, having a skater who is a former World Champion and Olympic medalist, who knows what it's like to be on top, how hard it is to stay there and how painful when you can't maintain that level, but who also has a lot of intensity and focus and ambition and kuyashii, can maybe be of help. (I might also be biased, because while I love Jason and he's the greatest sweetheart ever, in my day to day life, people who appear to be as happy and positive as Jason often appears to be - I'm sure he isn't ALWAYS like that, but that's his image - drive me up the walls. So I might be projecting by thinking someone closer to Yuzu's own intense attitude might have a more positive potential effect on him, than someone more like Jason.) And just for the record, I am definitely not shipping Yuzu and Zhenya. I doubt they're even really friends, but as rink mates, I think they might be a good match - though one very damaging to Brian's hair. Thank you. I assumed they train together at times, but wasn't sure. Of course, even if they train together, that doesn't necessarily mean a lot of interactions, so we still don't know much in detail. But they're rink mates. I don't think it's that unlikely they influence or help each other (and we do know the helping does happen at times, like with Yuzu giving Jason tips). Nobody said Yuzu can't be creative or motivated on his own. People wonder because some of these things are more typically Jason and with Jason at TCC and the timing as such, it's natural to wonder if it's a coincidence or not. Like you said, it might be, or it might not. I don't see why this is such a big deal, though? Even if he did pick it up from Jason, it doesn't mean Yuzu is not creative or can't get his own ideas. Even if the presence of this or other skater helps motivate him, it doesn't mean he can't be motivated on his own. It just makes things a bit easier for him. And at the end of the day, he could have the whole FS field training at TCC and it'd be worth nothing if he didn't actually make his own decisions and work hard. Which we all know he does. I'm not even sure what we're arguing about anymore. It feels like every argument made is taken to the extreme, like we haven't had enough drama and now we need to argue amongst each other over nothing, since I doubt anyone here thinks Yuzu is not creative and can't get motivated on his own... PS: at the Worlds SP Press Conference, Yuzu said he is inspired by the quality of Jason's skating, the richness of his expression and his flexibility. That might, of course, have been just nice words, but the timing can make one wonder. Is it really such a bad thing to wonder?
  24. I think there might be slight misunderstandings here. I don't think anyone is saying Yuzu is copying other skaters or that he only does these things because other skaters make him do it. Obviously, we don't know if the flexibility focus is Jason's influence (though I think Yuzu did say he observed Jason's flexibility, when they were all praising each other during the press conference at Worlds SP, if my memory doesn't deceive me), but it is a noteworthy coincidence, since some things are Jason trademarks. That being said, I don't believe it's copying, rather more like Yuzu's competitive spirit, seeing Jason doing stuff and going: "Hey! I can do that, too!" How he does it afterwards and that he incorporates them in programs is wonderful and purely Yuzu. That he maintains this level of flexibility is also wonderful, because we know Yuzu has often said that throughout his career he had to very carefully balance flexibility with the ability to jump. That having your body be too flexible affects jumping ability, but if you get too muscled up for jumps, that affects your flexibility. That he is both a fantastic jumper and very flexible is great and it's pretty much just him who has both to such an extent. (It also makes one wonder if maybe the high flexibility might play a part in Jason's difficulty to master quads.) I don't think it's a bad thing to say he is influenced by those around him. It shows he is receptive and willing to learn from anyone. However, he never just copies and plants elements for the sake of it and I think we all know and agree on that. He learns, he makes them his own and then he perfects them until they are up to his standards, before carefully incorporating them into his programs. That doesn't change the influence part. But being influenced also doesn't mean being a carbon copy of the original. (Even Javi's 4S, while Yuzu mastered it in the end, I don't think anyone can say they're the same and I don't know if Yuzu ever used the same entry as Javi until ACI last year, when it was clearly a tribute.) As for whether Jason being there was good for him after Javi left, I'm not sure. I guess the whole team being there was probably good. I don't know how affected Yuzu was by Javi's absence - I have my theories, but they're just that - but all in all, I'm not sure how much time he had to think about things. Personally, I've been thinking that Zhenya's presence might have helped more. I can easily imagine them feeding off of each other's fired up attitudes and ambitions and kuyashii moments. They probably have fire alarms going off when they both get into it lol And with Zhenya fighting to get back to the top, her hard work might have helped give Yuzu any push he might have needed, if he even needed any. BUT. We don't actually know how much they train together, if they do at all, aside from the group stroking session with Tracy. We don't know if Yuzu trains with Jason or Jun or Zhenya or Gabby or by himself whenever possible. We just don't know, so everything is speculation, especially since we also won't know, if TCC rules are respected. And that's fine. I don't know who's influencing whom and who's helping whom. What I do know and I think it's great to see is that they are all a team and they all get along well and support each other and IMO, that's the most important thing. Those Worlds Banquet TCC group pictures are seriously the best!
  25. Honestly, I think Yuzu and his team are very much aware of ISU and the judges' unfairness and it's something they keep in mind when making the programs. That Brian pretty much always figures out the score before it's announced shows he knows how the judges work and since Yuzu researches so much, he surely knows, too (though in the adrenaline rush of a post-performance, and with his own feelings in the mix, he doesn't always figure it out before the scores are announced - Helsinki FS is the best example; Yuzu probably never imagined they'd call his 4S UR, but it seemed like Brian expected a lower score, so perhaps expected the UR call, knowing the judges or perhaps knowing the angles they have or whatever). Whenever I see these things and think about the scoring and everything, I think it's so incredible in many ways, how far he has come. He's never had the kind of support and favoritism many of his rivals have had. You can probably count on the fingers of one hand the number of times he was overscored and those were usually either in special cases (CoC '14, though I still have my reservations on calling that overscoring) or the overscoring was very small. The number of times he was underscored is a different issue. I don't think we fans will ever forget that H&L is the best Free Skate program of the previous scoring system, while in the same time the most underscored world record ever. I'm sure Yuzu knows that, too. The thing is, though, that Yuzu is a fair guy. And while he does want to win, he will never want to win while ignoring his own standards and principles. A winning program, even a world record would be meaningless to him unless it was clean by his own standards. Yes, the judges give crap scores and I'm sure it does hurt him to some extent to see his hard earned and worked for and very often impeccably executed 3A, with levels of difficulty and quality that other skaters can only dream about, NOT get maximum GOE. But at the end of the day, his own standards are much higher than those of the judges. Honestly, up and coming skaters should pray he never takes up judging lol. Though I doubt the ISU would let him, anyway. Now, I wonder if his new goal might not be to find another way to break the system. Even though they've changed the rules to give his rivals an advantage and give him more disadvantages, to find a way to still win decisively despite that. I think there's a chance he might not have been as upset about judging at Worlds as we were, because he wasn't perfect by his own standards. It's possible he still thinks being perfect by his own standards would put him ahead of anyone else even with the ISU judging. But even so, I'm sure he took note of it and will keep it in mind from now on. His talk of getting all the quads was indicative of this, IMO. While in some ways I think he/they miscalculated at Worlds, I generally trust Yuzu and his team to be prepared to fight the ISU (even while they'll never really admit it, because they're too gentlemanly to). So we might be in for some mind blowing stuff... (if not, it'll just be more heartbreak... )
