Couldn't agree more with you. I don't understand why reusing old programs will hurt him. Skating to new programs with errors will not help him as we can see from last season. So I strongly believe as long as he stays on his feet, he will be fine.

As expected, it's SEIMEI!!!!! I'm really happy since I will be able to see both Chopin and Seimei live in Russia! And I hope this will erase all bittersweet memory from WC2016. Go for it, Yuzu! I'm always with you.

I can feel his frustration throughout this season. That's why I unconditionally support him no matter what decisions he made/will make. I am so glad to hear that he thought he needs to enjoy the competitions more.

I will take time to read and observe his way of thinking and analysis. :D On his choice of programs: To be honest, I do not care if he repeats both Chopin and Seimei. He wants that second OGM more than anyone of us here so I think everything he decided to do is the best for him. I would not blame him if he wanted Med's consistency since I personally think judges make it quite clear this season that skating clean is almost everything; empty/less complex programs are enormously rewarded if skaters hit all elements. It can't be helped if he feels that he needs to skate with confidence. He has no choice but plays the game.

Thank you for saying this. I'm with you! It's really annoying that people keep saying they won't root for Yuzu because he does not skate to new programs! WTF! Really people?!?! (Sorry to be rude.) What matters most is he delivers two perfect programs at the Olympics. That's all. And I agree if he would like to play safe or focus on technical side only. It's a strategy to win, not to satisfy anyone.

Couldn't agree more with you and I don't get why Yuzu needs to satisfy all his fans' expectation... Since ladies event @ WTT 2017, I think he is now well-aware that consistency is the key. What is the point of having new programs but you cannot deliver or execute them with the highest quality? Remember he will enter the Olympics as a defending champion and the amount of pressure will be 100x huge than usual. It's not really easy to skate to programs he does not feel right.

Totally agree with you. Judges will try to hold him down anyway if they want to even Yuzu has a new great program. (like they did with Yuna) He needs two programs he does feel comfortable and connected with to skate to. Olympics is not easy and he knows it well.

He has no choice though since LGC is unlikely to repeat and I think he does not want to risk doing a new program as well since it seems like he will upgrade his tech. Let's stay positive! :)

Come on, guys. Just chill. I have a mixed feeling about recycling Chopin as well but I think it's smart to play safe since it's an Olympic season. I trust Yuzu and his team.
