Yuzu was mentioned in Miya-kun's video from yesterday. [NEWS]

Although there are many worries, it will be another opportunity to see Yuzu again. As many have said, Yuzu knows best, and I may be only a Beijing Olys fanyu but I've learned to trust Yuzu's choices 100%, so I will look forward to whatever performance chances he gives us. And it could be an opportunity for more exposure and making new connections as well. New figure skating fans might discover the g.o.a.t there or at SOI TV broadcasts (if they have somehow missed him before) and marvel at his programs like the rest of us, hehe. I'm just grateful we get to see so much of Hanyu Yuzuru's figure skating! Thank you, Yuzu, and please take good care and plenty of rest.

So sorry to hear this ... I've been wondering how she was doing and hoping that all was better .... Rest is peace, @Muffinator and thank you for your words. And my condolences to her family. It is never easy to lose a loved one, but may her happy memories always be with you.

Managed to catch up with NHK's Kouhaku Uta Gassen program (thanks starry!). It's long but looked like so much fun, and it was nice to see the musicians I recognize (OMG @Anabel Yuzu and Hyde in the same hall. Please skate to a Hyde ballade, Yuzu ) and discover new ones. Some of the songs were so catchy and made me want to listen to more! Though I would likely not have watched it if it wasn't for Yuzu, so there's yet another example of Yuzu spreading Japanese culture. And we even got a few clips of Yuzu's skating in addition to the interactions with songs/musicians. It definitely had that end-of-year feel to it and it made me a bit sentimental. New Year's still a few hours away for me, but Happy New Year and best wishes for good health, happiness, and prosperity for all satellites who are already in 2023! This! Like, I need to sleep but so much is going on! Yuzu has been preparing for this during Prologue, I guess? He really takes no rest...

All I can say for now is WOW! I shut off my laptop and had the lights turned off to watch the show in my living room TV, and only just caught up with the thread, so thanks to everyone for the moment-by-moment comments. It feels like reliving it again a second time (and the anxiety of it too, hehe). I was so nervous and praying the entire time! But I am also in shock still, and feeling so proud of Yuzu that I couldn't stop clapping after it was over. It was just simply incredible! Congrats to Yuzu and I can't wait for Gift! Will it also be a solo show, I wonder?
