Since his ankle is still healing, maybe he wants to wait until the last moment before making any announcements. Though we'll be hearing about the GP assignments in a few days anyway I've said this before, but I don't think missing the GP would necessarily mean he's considering retiring, either. (Nats and championships will be held in Japan, closer to home with stricter covid restrictions). I am starting to get nervous though...

Don't beat yourself up over it; it can be hard to know the connotations of a word if you're not a native speaker. Also, I think most of the fans who use such words don't mean to insult Yuzuru. There seems to be this trend among young people where they use words such as "menace" or "bitch" and s*** as well to compliment someone. Maybe it's similar to how people used to say "sick" instead of "cool"? Nevertheless, I do find it somewhat disrespectful, and I wonder what Yuzuru thinks when he comes across such comments (English isn't his first language either).

Well, HYK, Tenchi and Seimei are Japanese, but I guess they don't have lyrics Notte Stellata has Italian (and not English) lyrics though, so I don't see why he couldn't skate to a song with Japanese lyrics.

I see Yuzuru wanted to avoid shots today, which ironically meant that we could only see his back most of the time... I think Raison might work better as a gala performance for that reason. I also initially thought that Raison was less intense today, but honestly it could just be the inadequate camera work (it was still cool). I guess the next time we will* hear from Yuzuru is when the GP assignments are announced
