  1. After seeing the olympics today, I realized if Yuzuru really went for it, to compete at Milano, he would've even gotten Olympic Gold... which is very shocking. I realized Olympics really is unpredictable and that Yuzuru really is the GOAT, he can perform under Olympic pressure. It's both shocking and kind of sad that Yuzuru stayed out of this olympic cycle.. I would have loved seeing him compete one more time... but I guess that boat has now fully sailed, because Yuzuru will be 35 by the time next olympic comes...
  2. Is 2023 the last time that Yuzu visited TCC? And here I was thinking that he would visit every year, now that Covid is over... I guess David Wilson comes to Japan to do his chores for his ice shows? I heard Brian say that Yuzu has a Canadian apartment and that the Pooh tissue case was there (Yahoo news interview).
  3. Hello everyone. It's that time of the year when we all miss Yuzu a little more than usual. This is the first winter Olympics without Yuzu since 2014, and it feels more than a decade ago when I fell in love with a new superstar in Sochi... I can't believe it's been 4 years since Beijing! It was his last olympics but I had hope that he would comeback for a season or two, because he said in the press conference that he didn't rule out the next Olympics... Although we don't get to see him compete ever again, I am glad he is still skating in ice shows. I just wanted to rant about how much more I miss him during these winter Olympics.. the media hype around his airport arrival, the Twitter frenzy around his practices, the prayer circles on Twitter.. most of all I miss the fans and their energy during this time. Although we have Ilia, and I do like him, the fan community around him doesn't feel quite the same.. I will forever miss the days as a Yuzu fan especially during the golden era of 2014 ~ 2019. The year before Corona was still so entertaining for us, because he was doing all the grand prix events. I feel Corona kind of ruined the momentum of Yuzu's competitive career and it was sad to see his last competition end that way.. without the crowd and pooh bears. Figure skating will never be the same in my heart after 2019.
  4. Thank you I have some catching up to do! I signed up to Yuzuru's YouTube Membership and now I can listen to his 1 hour membership radios! I'm surprised there are only about 6 though hahahaha I was hoping for 1 radio per month
  5. Where can I watch the past ice shows Prologue Gift Repray ??? Do they sell DVD on Amazon???
  6. Where can I see the translations of Yuzu's YouTube Membership rant videos? I clicked in the Twitter links and I can't see the comments? Are his membership video rants translated on this site too?
  7. Hi. It's almost been 3 years since Beijing Olympics. 3 years without competitive Yuzu has been kind of boring but I met my husband during that time and a lot has changed. I can't believe that next year will be the first winter Olympics without Yuzu because 2014 Sochi Olympics was my first winter Olympics watching men's figure skating. Life has just not been the same without Yuzu competing and I have lost interest in men's figure skating and figure skating in general. Are you looking forward to next year's winter Olympics? I think Yuzu might be going there as an announcer or reporter 🤔 Because he is still a big part of Japan figure skating culture. That is the only place where I will see Yuzu in a competing ice rink and I hope they invite him to the olympic Gala, if that's possible? Is it?
  8. The identity of Yuzu's wife was spilled by ice show staff and crew 🤦‍♂️ https://news.yahoo.co.jp/articles/44f95f0430672d26f3167a6a5846364806e7a8f8
  9. Does anyone have the statistics or examples of athletes who unretired after marriage to feed their new family? Or to just unretire due to change of emotions?
  10. She has bad quite a bad reputation for sexually harassing Yuzu on her personal instagram.. most likely it is not her. Her character and personality is ... should we say not very ladylike.
  11. I agree with your post! I see some face palm comments about him being gay on tiktok and Twitter even after his marriage announcement... facepalm 😓🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️ He's been talking about his ideal girl for a long time. Even when he was a Junior he said he liked kawaii (cute looking) girls instead of bijin (pretty) girls. (The interview was at his ice rink when he was a Junior after he won Jr Worlds and they also asked the same quiz to Murakami Kanako). He said in this same interview he finds Horikita Maki (Japanese actress) attractive and his ideal type. But there was a big section of fans who chose to ignore all his interviews for a long time. Even with Oda, he said he wanted to marry a wife around 25/26 and when Oda said he will be a good papa, Yuzu said "yes!". (Faoi backstage interview) So I think the honest part of the fandom knew for a long time he would be marrying a girl 😉
  12. Wow! I haven't been stanning Yuzu since he retired. Just snippets every few months or so, I would retweet some tweets. But oh my God! Him marrying is going to make me stan him even more from now. He seemed like such a family person and his marriage just confirmed it! He's going to be a great role model for families in Japan And now he has someone other than his mum who can cook and clean and support him through his skating journey. I hope he does come back for a season to compete, with a new passion from romance and family in his personal life! Alot of athletes unretire after marriage for various reasons 😃 But even if he doesn't, I'm still gonna support him
  13. Also I wonder if Yuzu has any plans to hire a Japanese coach for his pro skating practices? I heard some pro skaters still train under coaches to get tips and such. Are there any good figure skating coaches in Japan nowadays?
  14. Please post move this post to team korea. It is inappropriate on a Yuzuru chat thread
  15. The best thing I've heard all week. I bet their premium and all other seat ticket prices will drop heavily once they realize no one really wants to see their "Quad King" and "Quad God" in person. Legends are made from the people, not with fake scores. I hope ISU learns that quick.
