All promo performances have always required army memberships and album purchases, and in raffle form. And it's not a concert really, like Tae's fansign at which he'd be performing Layover live too (😔). And that's fine. You support him however you want to. Now that it's been some 20 hours. I've been thinking about Jack's lyrics. Since he's talking about his past self, I suppose him mentioning those things are fine since that's what the past was. Like you can't change it, just ackowledging it. Like in literature, to get across how terrible a character is, the author will need to use the appropriate terms to get the point across. If the character is a racist then well, there will be racist remarks. Something like that I suppose. So now the only issue I have left with his verses are how subpar they are compared to how well versed JK's are. The difference is just jarring to the listening experience. I really like this account for how they analyze rap, through meaning and techniques. If you want you can look up their analyses on Yoongi's raps, so good! This thread is their take on Jack's verse.

I'm doing both lol. Or rather I listen to alternate and stream explicit just cuz they are pushing promo for explicit version. Well sometimes you just gotta experience it all to get it out of your system. Trying to guide or repress it will just have it explode in an even worse way. Honestly JK has been doing really well on his own imo. He's just really into mainstream pop, has always been, and that scene has been pretty shallow for the most part. Best to have all the fun before going in, so he doesn't feel suffocated. Let youth be youth. Also, I think tattoos and piercings are cool, tastefully done. They are just another form of art, self-expression. I'd love to get sth tattooed one day but I'm like Joon, too indecisive haha Tae just has different set of hobbies and interests that steer him more towards the olds, with more reserved values. Plus he doesn't like drinking so that's good for him. Although I do like drinking (whiskey in particular), I just don't drink much lol And who's to say the others don't smoke? I for one am pretty sure Yoongi does both, smoking and drinking. I just hope they do it within reason and will quit sooner rather than later. Yeah that seems to be the overall meaning, that he was a fckboy but now he has changed for the better. The verses still suck lyrically. Like Usher, Flo Rida, etc can do so much better while still being hella explicit. I have to say it again. I really like 3D w JK only. Love his vocals and the lyrics even, quite clever. I still can't get over champagne confetti, it makes me laugh everytime, in a good way haha

I read this and it actually made it a lot better. Still, I think the verses are just what Jack is capable of. No matter how they spin the MV 🙂 I think there's such a thing as respecting each other's artistry, so as long as it's not outrageously out of line, they wouldn't interfere. Plus this is not even a Bangtan project, it's JK solo. I have been thinking about this so often lately!! I think JK was quite impressionable and he's always liked US pop. And quite frankly most US pop hasn't had great lyricism for quite a while now. And now him wanting to break out of his cutesy bunny image and whatnot, idk, kinda reminds me of Miley. At least his verses so far have remain respectfully sexy and sexual. Latto's verse actually kept w that too. Can't say the same about Jack's tho. sorry but based on his songs I can only say ew. I don't think he will since we have alternate part, which is suitable for performing. JK's verses are very sexual without being in your face. I really like them. Jack's verses ruined the song tho, both lyrically and musically. I don't mind it if the songs are like JK's verses, respectfully sexy and sexual. And honestly the people on twt saying whoever has the problem w this rap has never listened to real rap.... I don't know about them but there are plenty of good rap without the objectification of people. BTS rap is a great example. This version is so good!! I love JK's vocals in this song, even more than Seven. This is the one I'm listening to. I stream the featured version on my trial streaming accts with earphones plugged in. I just search 3D Alternate on spotify. I think that version is linked incorrectly to another artist right now. I don't understand how they fumble so often with BTS releases this way....

We don't know how much money they get just for signing the contract, except that it's a big sum since Board's approval was required. That is just an estimate from an analyst firm. No one knows the specifics except for the people involved. They value the little things and most importantly, JK is so competitive the biggest rewards for him woukd be winning haha The huge amount of payout money just shows that they are intelligent young man who know their worth and what they deserve. Nothing to detract from their sincerity, which they constantly show us and each other. I am so very happy for them 💜💜💜

This interview affirms once more that the success of BTS starts from the healthy training environment at BH. I have yet to read any horror story about people training at BH, unlike so mamy others. Even these two were surprised to learn of the differences betwen their experiences and others. No wonder these boys live each other so much.
