He didn't look nervous or stiff to me at all. The Roncapu was beautiful except for the pop. (IMO he looked stiffer in JNats RonCapu) Sad for him that he could not present the program the way he intended. Hope he will be able to skate the way he wants in the FS.

 But looking at how scoring is and who is the one get push...the podium will be Nathan,Yuma and Shoma.I just hope Yuzu just go for broke and land the 4A in the free..

At this rate can Yuzu still skate in the last group?

This is my first Olympic with Yuzu as a fan.Discovered Yuzu after his won  in Pyeongchang.Since then i have been watching all his past videos.In Pyeongchang he looked so care free and  playful with his coaches during the practice session.Here he looks focused and a bit tense..i think the pressure on him is so high this time around.I know he is determines to do the 4A no matter what even he is not have landed it practice yet..i hope and been praying he will achieve that and ultimately win.Because as much as we want to ignore the media Yuzu is a superstar in fs.Official Olympic twitter even has post about him pinned and it has more likes than the opening ceremony...so if Yuzu fails in doing the 4A he will get torn by the media especially after all the hype.I just dont want to see him hurt like that and i think he also know that because he even said in interview before that he afraid that all his previous accomplished will be forgotten if he didnt win.It is true because as of now ISU/JSF is so keen to try making a new star in which there are failing..and even from practice report people(who are not his fans) have already calling his retirement and making fun of his 4A attempt.Casual fans who will watch the Olympic also im afraid will have the same reaction as for them they didnt know the significance and the difficulty of trying 4A.

Are all 4A attempted today really downgraded?because jackie posted that on twitter and all the comments are really mean and making fun of Yuzu...

I know he's said he wants to go and win with the 4A as a weapon. But it is not ready and will actively hinder him, unless today was a fluke and he's been doing better 4As back home. He'll have other chances for the 4A. He only has one chance to win a third Olympics.

I dont think it as easy as that.I dont think he pratices 4 loop a lot..since his spend time practicing the 4A

Yeah.i think its need more time...i dont know if he still practice  4loop.

The 4A didnt look anywhere ready...is he really going to include in the actual competition?fall on the 4A really messed up his 4S.I wonder if he even practice 4loop incase he wants to replace the 4a with it

Don't think he is in Beijing yet.No sign of him in practice at all.I know there is only 1 hour time difference  so  there is no issue with jetlag but surely he has to have the feel of theice and skating on the Olympic right?especially for the edge jumps

At this point I can't help but wonder is he going to be at the Olys at all.

 

I don't mind if he is not because it's his choice and I'm here to support it, but it would be nice to have some sort of confirmation, so I can stop looking at Olys news. I couldn't care less about Olys without Yuzu in it. 

Same if Yuzu is not going to participate in the Olympic it will be nice to have confirmation.I dont have to spend my time looking for his news and watching the Olympic to catch any news.Dont have time and energy to spend on other skaters.But if Yuzuru is withdrawing sure there will be news on jpn media..unless they are so cruel to announce last minute in order to keep people interest in the Olympic...

So are we guessing for Yuzu to arrive today or on Sunday?anyone has check the ANA flight schedule?
