I always wonder why he can stay strong. he's not the sort of person having a mental of steel. He faces his weakness and just keeps trying to tackle it without escaping although it involves so much pain. It sounds a bit too much, but for me he is the person who shows the possibility of a human. The reason why I love and support yuzu is not because he's the same Japanese as me, but because his character, attitudes towards life themselves are so attractive and inspirational. I can't keep my eyes off him.

I want to say about it as a Japanese. Provably translator uses the word, “attack” for the Japanese word, “攻める”, which shoma uses and this time yuzu (? I haven’t listened to the interviews so far). But the nuance is not at all so aggressive, further, not to target anyone. The nuance is like “Don’t to be weak. Don’t lose to yourself.” . It’s the word towards yourself, your weak self, not other person.
They use their word in such a nuance. I feel the translation has caused some misunderstanding about especially Shoma’s characters. Silly mass media try to make the situation of Yuzu vs Shoma. But it seems shoma's stance now is he just wants to pracitice more if he has the time to say, " I want to surpass yuzu-kun." -

@hamaguri Yeah. Thats why I think its might not the final decision yet. Recycle programs are normal but for the 3rd time, its a bit rare. So everyone want to hear his thought and the Faoi interview is the best chance. I' m used to be a journalist, and if I was there, i couldnt wait to ask him about it. But instead, we got very little infos. From my experience, its might be he/ his team avoid the question or request media not to ask about it. But I could be wrong since I dont know much about japanese media.
It's highly possible that Japanese media questioned and asked "the third time use of 1 program is pretty rare, why do you dare to do such a choice in this Olympic season? but so far we havent had any direct answer to it. they just answered this is the program which yuzuru is good at most, etc...
Anyway, let's wait for a while. New information will come out gradually.

Oh, that's nice. Basically I'm positive with chopin 3.0. Ballade is truly a masterpiece of figure skating history as well as a showcase of him. If they add more nuance or something new to this pro, i wouldnt be happier!

I didn't notice it but it's a bit stragenge. He usually talks so much about a reason of his choice. He was confortable with his skating of Ballade, it's true, but he didnt mention the reason of choice so far. Instead, ANA's shirota-san responded. He may talk from now in his interviews or so...

I've been to Makuhari. Definitely the arena is hot. we dont have to worry about his fatigue so much, i think.

ありがとうございます！
ビザ、心配なんですよねほんと。
私もよくわからないんです。モスクワ初めてで。。。モルドバの友達が行く予定にしていて、ロシア語ができるしロシアに知人もいて情報も取れるので、ホテル事情を調べてもらったりしている最中。とにかく、衛生とか治安とかいろいろあるみたい。今のところ、リーズナブルなところは埋まっていて、いいところはとんでもなく高い。シェアする予定ですけどね。
